“This is a fantastic high school to go to, I am currently a Junior there. The classes are very fun, and don't at all fall in line with the negative reviews posted here. While I personally don't much care for some of the classes, or students for that matter, I love doing sports such as track and cross country. I have made incredibly close friends through these sports and even got to work with my pole vault coach to design a shirt just for us. While we all get sick of school at some point or another, this truly is a great one to go to.”

“We absolutely loved this. Showed up on a whim and had a delightful time. Kathy is remarkably friendly and we loved learning about the process from her. I'm a gin fan, and my partner is a whiskey guy, we both walked away happy with our respective purchases. I can't recommend coming here enough. Thank you Kathy!!”

“Karen White is the best agent I have ever worked with. She will go the extra mile and then some for her clients. And she is very talented when it comes to staging a home. Amazing! I wish I could give her more than 5 stars. Plus, she is a fun and likable person with a great personality. You are making a mistake if you don’t work with Karen!”

“Brooke is an amazing person and practitioner and I would not hesitate to recommend her to my friends, family, and patients. As a physical therapist myself, though I specialize in orthopedics and sports, I recognize that Brooke is unique and skilled in our field. She has a deep knowledge of vestibular, balance, and concussion disorders and is great at tailoring her treatments in fun, interactive ways for her clients. Whidbey is lucky to have her, I just wish she also had a location in Seattle!”

“Hans Jangaard has helped me where standard medicine has not. My body went into autoimmune following the J&J COVID Vaccine. If I catch COVID now, I have little way of fighting COVID. I have lost feeling on the right side of my face, 50% of the feeling in my feet, toes completely numb, severe pin point headaches, some vision impacts on my right side, great fatigue. His advice and supplements have helped me tremendously. I have regained a lot of the lost feeling. I am now getting stronger. The medical community, at a loss, told me to continue following the naturopath treatments.”

“Insulating a metal stock tank with marine vinyl fabric over foam insulation works great! This photo was taken around 1995 and the whole setup is still in good shape in 2022. What I like most about the the combination of vinyl, foam, and metal tank is that it's very light so easy to move, it's easy to keep clean, and it's inexpensive and durable. My cabin is in Southeast Alaska and I visit it several times a year for a several weeks at a time. When I depart it takes me about 30 minutes to disassemble the plumbing, remove the stovepipe and rinse out the tank. I flip the tank over and slide it into the cabin by myself no problem. With the insulation, I can leave the tank hot at night and it's ready for a morning soak with little or no fire (depending on the outdoor temperature). That saves a lot of firewood. If you go this way, I suggest following Island Hot Tub's "Instructions for Making a Soaking Tub Using a Metal Stock Tank". For the tub's drain I just use a tapered plug like you'd use in a sink rather than a valve, much simpler. The metal tank/Chofu setup has been so much fun for my family and kept us all clean and happy off the grid for 20 years with zero problems. Can't ask for more than that.”

“Dean, the owner knows what he is doing. They have moved 2 pianos for us and they make it look easy (but it's not really). Due to covid, they are not tuning inside occupied homes yet. Maybe when the mandates stop. If you need a piano moved, call Petrich's without hesitation”

“I have only the best things to say about Freeland Carpet One. The two primary things that stand out in my mind regarding my dealings with them: QUALITY and INTEGRITY. The staff in the store helped me with their friendly yet professional approach, their thorough product knowledge, and their remarkable patience. The third-party installers they sent out did amazing work. The store staff and the various installers repeatedly went above and beyond. I have enthusiastically recommended Freeland Carpet One to neighbors and friends. Top-notch in every way from beginning to end! Thank you!”

“What a fantastic local resource. Great and knowledgeable staff. Very friendly and prompt service. For those with issues on color matches, as a pro color consultant and color theorist (not associated with this store) - please remember it’s rarely the first formula mix that is spot on. Ask for sample sizes until you get it right. Also - if you’re matching paint over 6 months old and expecting to patch paint a wall - I’ve never seen it work in over 20 yrs pro experience. A painted surface cures and then is altered by its environment. Get your formula as close as possible to your original, and always paint the entire wall you need repainted. Any color differentiation will be practically unnoticeable from wall to wall.”
