“Where to begin?? I just came home and had to immediately give credit to Cheryl for opening this home to the public. Along with David, who does maintenance, they have made this place truly a special getaway. This was a last minute trip (booked the day before) so we didn't know what to expect. However, immediately it felt like home! Cheryl and David were generous and treated each other with respect which we loved to see! Although we packed as if we were moving in, Cheryl provides guests with more than enough in the kitchen and bathroom! They had rentals...so we chose a canoe. David took a picture of us and printed us copies (2 for us and 1 for us to sign and they plan to display with the others) I thought this was a really nice touch! Another thing I loved was that they accommodated my dog - he was basically on vacation too! I really hated leaving this place but I am blessed to know what and who we are coming back to. Thank you David and Cheryl you made my last minute birthday trip something to remember! We will see you again!”

“Headed home from the area and had a hungry family to feed. So thankful they were open on a Sunday. I had the gorgonzola burger which was messy but amazing. Glad I chose to eat it there before trying to drive and eat at the same time. The garlic burger was very filling for the wife, she was thankful that the veggies are on the side when you get it and can choose what to put on. The bacon burger was inhaled by the teenager, with no complaints. Several people showed up just after I got there picking up orders they called in. It looks like it is a hot spot for locals. Will definitely recommend to friends that are traveling in the area and looking for some great burgers.”

“Excellent service, when I truly needed them they did what they could to see me and helped me out, tuned up and had the boat working like new again. Fast service, tough me a few things about my boat I had no idea about. Very knowledgeable and super friendly. Thank you”

“We took a 2 hour sailing tour at Port Townsend at the end of a 10 day trip to the Pacific Northwest. What a way to end a fantastic trip! Amber is a great sailor. She didn’t even flinch when a Pontoon Plane landed between us and a ferry coming into port. She is also a wonderful tour guide. Gliding around the bay is a peaceful way to get a feel for the sites, activities and beauty of the area. Amber even had great tips for dining. If you want, you can assist with the sailing, or if not, you can relax and enjoy the ride. He helped, I relaxed.”

“Pastor Jim preaches the Word of God uncompromisingly, a rarity in today's churches. I appreciate his heart for the Lord Jesus and for truth despite what our current culture says. Calvary Community is a warm and friendly church. The music and worship ministry is fairly contemporary with nods to the old hymns from time to time and generally at a pleasant sound level. Come join us. My husband and I have been attending for about three years.”

“Our favorite quiet getaway! Just had our first summer visit, and it was a treat to eat on the patio while watching the sun set over the marina. Previous visits in fall and winter did not disappoint though as eating in by the fire is so cozy. The restaurant is one of our favorites, and the rooms are beautiful with spacious, spa-like tubs. Highly recommend.”

“I ordered Kung Pao chicken with the fried rice upgrade, and the fried vegetable egg rolls. First off, it wasn't cheap by definition ( but nothing is anymore). The restaurant isn't especially fast and less so during peak hours _ the place is small. If you can get over those issues, the food was quite good. Both dishes were pretty excellent for take out, flavorful, the chicken was spicy with good vegetables, and the fried rice was also dialed in. Portions were stout. The star rating reflects a rural area without nextdoor competition. That said, my money was well spent and the staff was very welcoming.”

“Went to see what the author Langdon Cook had to share. If you're interested in local foraging broadly across the one I would recommend giving his books a chance. Hadn't heard of him before but walked away with a signed copy of one his books. This talk was regarding mycology in particular. Good information. Can't wait to give the recipes he detailed a try. The library itself was a library. Was decent. Nothing negative to say. Not sure how to review it beyond that.”

“We stumbled upon this restaurant & decided to give it a try on our weekend in Port Townsend. I’m so glad we did because the food was delicious! And the lady who is owner was so friendly & accommodating with my dietary preferences. They will “ custom” make your meal if need be. I’m sensitive to soy sauce & sodium. The chef made a delicious low sodium, no soy, spicy chicken with vegetables, noodle chow mein & my husband ordered the squid in black bean sauce. He’d never eaten squid before & thought it was 1 of the best Chinese meals he’s ever had. The squid was delectable! They just opened in early 2022 & I hope they become very successful. It takes a lot of courage & big efforts to open a restaurant post pandemic ! They’re friendly, welcoming & the meal we had was a wonderful surprise to a busy day. The inside is spacious, clean , with a nice, wide open feel to it. The menu is aesthetically pleasing with photos & a variety of foods well laid out & delineated in grouping. Give them a try!”

“I needed a spot to stay for the night, and found this place. The owner was very nice when I made my reservation on the phone. She called me back about 10 minutes later that the cabin she was going to have me stay in was not available but gave me another cabin. The room was beautiful friendly bright and cheery. It has nice personal touches coffee, tea, creamer. Towels were soft and fuzzy, the bed was amazing after a long day working on the trails in the Olympic National Forest. I would highly recommend staying here, and will stay here again very soon! I felt like I was being catered too, and not just renting a room for the night. The view was awesome too!”

“Stopped by at the recommendation of the Shell gas station attendant when I asked if he knew if a nearby place open on Sunday where dogs were allowed on the patio. Good: Prompt, friendly, but not annoyingly over-attentive service. Plenty of parking spaces. Open patio that overlooks the course. They even have a little doggy menu. Kid and pet friendly. Could be better: Food was just ok. Fries were pretty greasy, bottom bun on my burger was a bit soggy, and a larger plate would have been welcomed. If you are allergic to bees, opt for a table away from the patio edge since the bees love whatever plant it is that borders the edge.”
