Premier Torque Converters was a hidden gem for me. I called as many transmissions shops as there are on the eastside and they all told me a 3-10 day wait and at least twice the cost of PTC. I called budget truck looking for tips and they sent me to PTC. The gentleman on the phone was knowledgeable and willing to answer questions.

When I arrived I wasn't quite sure where the main entrance was, so I ended up walking through the production area and was really impressed with the operation. They have more converters than you can count, all neatly organized and every single employee was working hard at a quick pace. I instantly knew I was going to pleased with the converter I bought for my XJ Cherokee, and indeed I am.

First off, I could tell the welding was done by a seasoned hand, not a machine. The paint job was done very well and the converter was packaged nicely and safely so you don't drop it walking to your truck. Aside from these things, there isnt a lot to judge until you drop it from P to D and takeoff. On that note, wow! their converter totally changed my jeep. TC lockup and shifts are like a brand new rig and the jeep has almost 300k on the clock.

Very, very pleased; cant wait to pick up a converter for my chevy.
