Park here regularly and I like it because it's never full and right off the highway. Getting there through the Newport Hill neighborhood can be challenging due to traffic during rush hour.
Always parking available. Never had any issues with safety. I've been using this location for about 3 years and still recommend if you need to commute to Seattle or Bellevue by bus.
Southbound station walk back is on the bridge. Direct, no stairs. Not bad. Buses go on carpool lane mostly, which is nice. Except when needed to switch from one highway to another. Some buses are not exactly on time.
Usually, there is always parks available.
