This is a quiet wooded park. There's a small playground that serves different ages well, a handball court, tennis courts and well developed trails. It is a perfect place to be on a hot day because most of the park is covered by trees and is shady.
Step into the world of awesomeness!
The naturalized landscape and varied topography make this park feel larger than it is, and hiking around the perimeter path affords vantages on the playground, concrete hand ball courts, and upper picnic lawn. The picnic tables are currently absent. Parking lot immediately off the two tennis courts with nearby bathrooms make it a good place to wait for a court to open up.
like this place .. fresh air and nice for having a good time with the kids
Love this park and I grew up in the area and spent a lot of time here playing tennis facilities are always very well up kept there's nearby beaches at random public ones that are very sparsely populated in no matter what time of year or how warm it is it is a great little getaway you will find that some of the if you're not from the neighborhood that you might not get the warmest reception but they are kind people just looking out for their neighborhood and as long as you're there with good intentions typically there is no hassle so enjoy this small slice of what upper-middle Suburbia is all about really is a treat in a true treasure
