Julia has an amazing way of listening and guiding. She has been very helpful to me in my journey. Like facing my fears head on through experience on and believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself. And when I go off on a tangent.:) She knows how to kindly bring me back.
I am extremely grateful to her for being a fair party and listening ear. She truly cares for my well being. And her wide knowledge of mental health is impressive and assuring.

Julie is an amazing resource for my daughter. She is a wonderful listener, patient and incredibly smart. She has helped us all through many difficult situations and we are extremely grateful. Not only is my daughter extremely comfortable with her, but she looks forward to every visit. I don’t know what we would do without her.

Julia does not give advice, but she does help me answer questions on your own! She challenges me to consider new viewpoints while never forcing me to her's. Since working with her, I am able to make better decisions about what I want and what I need from myself and others.

As a therapist, Julia uses a variety of techniques and tries hard to determine what works for me as an individual. You can expect Julia to be kind, warm, and interested in helping you, but don't expect her to just tell you what you want to hear. She will push you when she feels you need it and support you when she feels you need that more. I am always amazed how well she can do this with both balance and compassion.

Bottom line, if you want someone to tell you what you want to hear, look somewhere else. However, if you want someone to help you find your own truth and enable you to make better choices, you have found the right person!

Julia totally helps me out every time I get to see her. She is smart, accepting and I believe she totally cares about me and her other clients. She helped me through some really dark times when relationships and jobs ended and I felt so lost. She is funny and insightful but won't sugar coat stuff. She isn't afraid to tell it like it is. Don't get me wrong, she is always kind but I need that kind of realness in my life. Also, at first I kindof thought the Sandtray stuff seemed wierd but you should totally absolutely do it!! It changed my life! My favorite and most helpful sessions were when she helped me look at things in a different way in the Sandtray. Crazy! If you need a counselor stop looking and go see her if you can get in.
