Wonderful little oasis with beautiful bonsai exhibits. Lots of different bonsai types are displayed with clear explanations of technique and style. Well presented historical background on Japanese Americans from the western states and their struggles to maintain this important cultural knowledge during the WWII period.

I visited with my daughter. We were just looking for something interesting to do outdoors before the weather turned. The WWII exihibit is beautiful and moving with its stories of the tragic history of the internment of Japanese Americans and the ways in which bonsai have been such an important element of Japanese American culture. The descriptions of the trees and photos were very well done and interesting.

This is an awesome place to visit. It is very clean. The atmosphere is very calming and the Bonsai displays are amazing. They change the displays periodically so chances are, each time you go there you'll find something new.

The place is open year round,, but when we went, it was raining. We didn't have the proper rain clothing, so we had to cut our visit short, but had the weather been sunny, we could have spent all day exploring the gardens.

Nice and peaceful environment. Had lots of displayed Bonsai and stories for each. Great for kids paired with the rhododendron botanical garden trails and gazebo. Lots of parking and bathroom on site. Does have an $8 entrance fee but children 12 and younger are free. Discounts for seniors and military.

An incredible source of aesthetic inspiration. Stop here to get out of traffic. Visit as an intentional outing.

This museum is a compact container in a beautiful and well planned setting of branching experiences you leave better for the time spent.
