I toured quite a few preschools because I work full time and wanted to know what my options are before there were long waitlists. I'm very particular about my childcare options, as are most parents. I drive by Creative Montessori regularly to get to St. Edwards Park but never thought about touring it because the front of the school made it seemed really tiny. We just moved into the area from San Francisco so we solely depended on internet reviews. However, a neighbor told me their children attended Creative Montessori and really thrived. As I pulled in, the parking is a little tight, and I wasn't sure what to expect. However, Molly, the director, is so warm and personable and took her time to show me the school, which strangely, I can't say about many of the directors on other preschool tours I've been on. I was able to tour the school while the children were doing their "work" and the children were so happy and excited to participate and the teachers were attentive of the children. The school is in two separate buildings and the play area is quite large for a preschool in the area. I like that there is real grass and a natural setting v. the more common astroturf or only concrete for the outdoor play area. They're also renovating the buildings this summer so it will have newer facilities in the future. I can't quite give the school five stars because my child isn't actually enrolled in the school, but I really loved the space, the director, and how well cared for the children were. They all seemed to enjoy being there. I hope other parents take the time to check out this school, because it's definitely worth a tour.

I want to say that the only inconvenience of this school is that it does not provide lunch and snacks, and the others are perfect. My daughter has been here for one year, and she really loves this school very much. There are only two big classes in this school, one full-day class(back building) and one half day class(front building), and each class is a 3-6 years old kids mixture class. My daughter loves to play with those kids with similar and older age as her. She has many good friends in here. The director of this school is Molly. She and her staffs are very warm and friendly, and we can see their smiles every time when we drop off and pick up. Our family love Creative Montessori School very much and strongly recommend to you.
Add some information: The entrance and exit of the school parking lot are one the side of Juanita Dr. If you drop off and pick up during the peak hours, going in and out of parking lot is a tricky thing because the entrance and exit are usually blocked by many cars. If you want to turn left into the parking lot, you have to wait longer until somebody gives you enough space. I think it would be helpful if adding a "Don't block" sign at the entrance .

My kid enjoyed going here. Drop off pick up can get a bit tricky sometimes cos of small parking lot and due to it being on Juanita drive but that does not take away anything from the good education the kid gets here.
