This daycare is definitely a second home for the children. April and Jim take wonderful care of the kids and treat them as they would family. The kids go on so many day trips (to the park, to gymnastics, to swimming lessons, to farms, etc.) which really makes TLC stand out from other programs. They have years of experience, which I know first-hand as I used to be one of their daycare kids and have now returned to them 20 years later.
We absolutely love this child care center. We fully trust Jim, Sarah, Katie and April with our kids. Their program is well rounded and appropriate for the children's ages. Other than the usual reading, crafts and circle times, there are days scheduled for gym and park visits. The kids also have ample time for play outside. Food prepared for the kids are prepared in-house and are healthy and kid-friendly. There are center potluck events in which parents and kids gather a few times during the year to celebrate occasions such as Easter and Halloween. I cannot say enough good things about TLC. I highly recommend this child care center to parents looking for quality child care and early education for their preschool and pre-kindergarten aged kids.
The children really love going to school every day at TLC. They can learn through play, and make great friends that they keep all the way through elementary school. They get to enjoy fun field trips monthly, and gymnastics class weekly. And they really look forward to show and tell during circle time! Fun, loving staff that really enjoys working with children.
The children get so much socialization. They learn how to use their words when they get their feelings hurt and how to make jokes and sing songs. All the kids learn, "We are all winners here at TLC!"
My kids have loved TLC! Great activities and field trips. Jim and April and all their staff really care about the kids and how they are growing and progressing. It is more than just a daycare, they are like a second family.
