Derek was very professional and has a lot of experience in the real estate industry. He was very patient with us and whenever we wanted to see a house, he was quick to schedule an appointment whether it be in the morning or in the evening. Derek is an amazing agent! With all the homes we have purchased and sold, we had a number of firsts with Derek. He was extremely well prepared for our first meeting. It started with a tour of our home, then he took us to five homes for sale in our area that would be our competition. It gave us great insight for the next step, which was to set our price. Derek had set us up with the home tour in order to convince us to list our home for $100,000 more than we planned. And, he was correct, we had a full price offer the day after it was listed. The sale ended when the buyer's mother expressed stair concerns for her age. A second full price sale ended when the buyer's son expressed concerns about not being able to have goats on the property. At that point Derek had accumulated three additional full price offers. He carefully took us though the offers and made a recommendation for which one to choose. We agreed and the sale proceeded perfectly. The house was listed on August 9 and closed on August 21. The entire experience was the best we had ever had purchasing or selling a home. All carefully and professionally guided by Derek. We highly recommend Derek to anyone planning to purchase or sell a home.
