(January 17, 2021, 3:56 pm)Wonderful exploration opportunities at Carkeek. Beautiful views of the Olympic mountains across the sound and “just right” hiking up hills in the woods for not too adventurous folks. Parking is very tight on weekends but you can park near QFC and take the trail in through the orchard if you don’t mind a walk.
(January 16, 2021, 4:20 pm)The main Street to parking was closed on 1/16. Great trails, reasonably well maintained. Perfect place to take your Patagonia coat and Subaru out for some fresh air.
(January 14, 2021, 3:48 pm)love carkeek!! and so do dogs. they love getting in the creek, and the trails are fun to run. saw some families out enjoying nature. a beautiful place to step directly out of the city and into the woods!
