Beautiful grounds, plenty of walking, biking space, great for people of ALL ages and dogs too! Tons of benches and picnic tables.
Love this park!! We take our doggo here, everyone loves the off leash areas and water spots. There are play places for families and seating options along the paths. Parking is usually great since there are so many lots. Sometimes the Barkery truck is out and you can get a special treat for your pooch!
Large open space, off leash dog park and kid toys near pea patch. Kite hill, water and trails. Safe for solo or fun for groups. COVID 19 CLOSURE
Great park, does get muddy during rain and snow seasons but the rest of the year is pretty decent conditions. I think it’s the biggest park in Seattle proper, with water access to lake Washington. Well maintained, not too much poop. Of course not everyone picks up/pays attention. There are 3 main areas for humans to sit and 2 shelters for hiding from the sun. Faucets at the entrance only for water/ hosing down dirty pooches. Lots of parking in the surrounding park parking lots. Also Magnuson park itself offers great walking /jogging opportunities with your pup.
We usually come here for the dog park, which is amazing! There's a large area for all dogs with a path to the water on hot days. There's also a small dog area that's big enough for lots of high speed chasing. Our corgi gets very excited whenever we pull into the park entrance because she knows she's about to have such a fun time!
