After a long week of hiking around the state and touring Seattle, I found myself with an swollen ingrown toenail. Lucky for me, Dr. Kerch was able to see me at 2PM on a Saturday with 1 hours notice.
Her assessment was very thorough and thoughtful. I never felt rushed through like I have at many other clinics. The procedure was quick, painless, and effective. Within 24 hrs I regained my normal gait and the pain subsided entirely. It's since been three weeks later and I'm active and pain free!
I highly recommend Dr. Kerch!
I called her yesterday and made an appointment for 10:30. Today I show up 10 minutes early and nobody is here. I proceed to call her # and nobody responds. I have now waited 40 minutes with no response.
seems she had written down the wrong time and she called me an hour later and asked me to come in. she was very professional and did a good job but an hour late
Dr. Kerch is an excellent clinician. My daughter has chronic ingrown toenails. She is dancing at Pacific Northwest Ballet this summer. My daughter called me on a Saturday to tell me she had an infected toe and couldn't dance. I'm from California and tried to find a podiatrist open on Saturday. I found Dr. Kerch and spoke to her personally. She had my daughter come right in and even stayed after her normal hours to care for my daughter. She took care of the issue efficiently and with little pain -- according to my daughter. My daughter was back to dancing, on pointe, two days later. I would recommend Dr. Kerch to anyone who needs a podiatrist. She is a caring and very competent physician.
This is the first time I have ever been to a podiatrist, so I can't compare the experience directly. However, I was very satisfied with the care I received.
She interviewed me carefully and thoughtfully, gave my foot what seemed to be a thorough exam, and made what seemed to be a reasonable diagnosis. She seemed very concerned for my foot health and well being.
I recommend her.
