Sunfish

Excellent fish and chips and a low key atmosphere and staff. Definitely a must visit for fish and chips in Alki.

Calamari was tender and came with a big slice of lemon, so good. Oysters were fried with lite crispy batter and a good tarter sauce. Chowder was full of clams and thick and creamy. Coleslaw is slightly sweet, like all the fresh parsley they add. Bathroom was very clean and you can smell the bleach used. The brothers who own and work here are fun to chat with, they seem craggy but are friendly and serve excellent affordable seafood across the street from the beach. Our new favorite fish and chips restaurant.

Really excellent fish, lightly breaded and delicious. Fries just average, but that but what we came for. Got the cod and halibut and both were pretty close to perfect--flavorful, moist, and flaky. Great location, right across the street from the beach.

This fish n chips shop serves great fish, they are located directly across from the beach. I ordered the combination meal with halibut, shrimp, oysters and fries. The fish and shellfish were cooked perfectly and had great flavor, the fries were a little overdone but had good flavor. Overall, I was satisfied with the food I did ordered, except for the side of coleslaw that wasn’t very good. There were out of a lot of things unavailable, like scallops and iced tea. I had to order what was available. Also, they could not take American Express cards. The food was good, as well as the location. If you are looking for fish and chips, this is a good spot.

Today my husband and I had lunch here and it was really good! We had the cod combination plate and the scallops and fries… the food was fresh and tasty we also had a small chowder which was very good as well the two guys behind the counter were a little gruff but over all it was a pleasant experience.
