The Whittaker is a beautiful place to live. I moved in during the winter, so I'm not out in the courtyard much, but I'm sure looking forward to the springtime! The common areas are very well maintained & clean which adds peace-of-mind during this bizarre Covid experience. Looking forward to a better 2021.

I recently moved to West Seattle from New York. My boyfriend and I looked at dozens of apartment complexes in the area and I can say with confidence the Whittaker is the best one. You can't beat the location. The proximity to Whole Foods and Trader Joe's, not the mention the bus stop right across the street is incredibly convenient.

The bedrooms are spacious and overall the layouts feel much more open for the same square footage than others I've seen. There are lots of community spaces that you can use that are often empty or have enough space to social distance--this is huge if you're working from home. Also NICE appliances, huge sinks and beautiful islands overall amazing kitchens. The staff are on top of everything-- packages are never left out and every common area is clean.

The only con I can think to mention is there are concerns with break ins in the parking garage. However, that is a problem anywhere in the Junction. I would say there should be a security guard on duty at all times. I do see one from time to time.

Shout out to Emmaly, our leasing agent, who made the move in experience seamless. We changed our minds on the layout and square footage several times and she always quickly adjusted and gave us great options. There are TONS of different layouts here so I really appreciated all the effort she put in to find us the perfect one.

Don't hesitate to move in here. If you don't need the West Seattle bridge to get to work it's the perfect place to live IMO.

Satisfying experience of staying in this community for about a year now. The staff is courteous and is doing a good job at managing the pandemic regulations. Did not have to raise too many service requests. But whenever I did, the help was prompt. Great for the location they're in.

Parking spots are not easy to come by.

The office staff is great! They have always handled things within their control in a timely ans professional manner. For Thanksgiving they hand delivered a dinner pie, a dessert pie and champagne to every residents door. Great location, awesome amenities, I would recommend living here to anyone!

I’ve been here for just about a month and I really love it. The location is great, right next to grocery’s, restaurants, and the public transports. Parking is really easy since the spaces in the garage seem to be bigger than typical. I haven’t used the amenities much, but they have a lot of nice options! The rooftop has such a great view and they even garden patch too! Our apartment is amazing and has sooo many windows!

I toured with Charlotte, and she was really great! Super informative and upfront about the costs and the positives things about the building. She showed us a couple options, and really tried to find an option worth a balcony for us. The apartment we initially wanted got rented, and then when it came back on the market, one of the other leasing folks, Emily, from reached out to let us know. And we got it! They’ve been super helpful, and really helped our move in go well - even when our movers made us run a little bit late.
It’s a pretty quiet building, you can’t really hear the outside noises, and I cannot ever hear my neighbors which is amazing.
All around the building is really great, and the people are awesome. And this neighborhood is one of my favorites.
