“Absolutely add this to your MUST DO list! The only regret I have is not doing it sooner. Our guide Jay was GREAT! Knowledgeable, funny, confidently calm, and very personable! I was a bit nervous since this was my first time in a kayak, but quickly found out I had nothing to worry about and was able to enjoy EVERY minute of our tour. Our 11 yo managed better than all of us, so it’s definitely a doable trip for the whole family. It also helps when your guide can make you feel safe so that you can spend your time soaking in the surroundings, which included multiple SEAL sightings!! I’m sure we spotted at least 8 and it just added to the already unbelievable sights!! Our picnic on the beach was a great add on and kept anyone from getting a little ‘hangry’. I’m most definitely doing this again and recommending it to all my friends and family. I’m sure everyone is a great time...but if you can, get Jay! 5 Star-fish rating from me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“I simply can not say enough for this remarkable artist and author. True genius is perhaps close. Her artistry and mastery of her craft is extraordinary. She has co-authored, Quilting Modern: Techniques and Projects for Improvisational Quilts. (Find on Amazon.) I was lucky enough to take a class from her not knowing a thing about this art form. I fell in love with her technique. And what a teacher she is! Actually she acts as much as a collaborator allowing the student to grow as as artists. I followed up my class with an Open Studio at her own studio in West Seattle. After the second open studio I will have completed my quilt. (See below.) I have signed up for another open studio and more workshops. Her website is amazing.”

“Daniel and his brother are such nice people. Took a very expensive suit in and had a chat with Daniel about how he would handle and treat it, and by the end of the conversation was very impressed with his level of knowledge. When I returned to pick up my suit, he had removed all stains and it looked as good as new. If you have any designer or expensive clothes that you need to be handled with care, this is the only place to take them.”

“I got a flat tire Sunday night, Jose who was working at this Shell station was so kind enough to help change it!! I honestly do not know what I would’ve done if it wasn’t for him, he was so kind and thoughtful to help me out. I am so thankful I ended up at this gas station. Thank you SO MUCH Jose!! You literally saved me last night, thank you!!!”

The food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the music they were playing at lunch time. I highly recommend this place. We will be back soon. Thanks!”

“I can't say enough good things about this wonderful studio! I started working with Hannah and Christine many years ago, and followed them when they opened their own studio, Lux, a couple of years ago. They are truly gifted teachers, hire only the best, and their philosophy of providing small classes and individualized attention is unparalleled in my experience. Five stars!”

“I really like this place for brunch! The breakfast sando is straightforward and tasty. The breakfast potatoes are very yummy and service is friendly. If there is a game on it’s sure to be packed to plan accordingly. Also looks like there’s a nice patio area although I have yet to eat out there.”
