“Both of my kids went to Basic Steps Learning Center for their PreK and Summer Literacy Programs. My daughter graduated from Kindergarten program and got into 1st grade HighCap when she transferred to Public School. Great teachers with amazing curriculums, including Maths, Reading and Writing. My daughter enjoyed field trips and painting a lot. Program director, Mrs. Joa, put so much efforts on all her students and school programs. We have known each other since 2013 when my son was in her program. She devoted most of her time to have students grow out of their comfort zones and to be more successful for their futures. “My 2 middle children attended MCH from 2004-2009, and now my youngest attends this wonderful school. The teachers and staff are warm and friendly, creative and kind. The campus is surrounded by trees, and the children are encouraged daily to interact with their natural surroundings. There are goats and chickens and bunnies to visit, a nature trail, and friends to make! I am confident that the wonderful Montessori structure has made a big difference in my children's development fostering independence and confidence. Can't say enough good things about the school!”

“My first time was at Don Hoppers funeral. I can understand now why he liked it. It is very comforting. I am sad and grieving Don. I have known him for years. Since he was 16. Its comforting to know Pastor Hicks was with Don and knew him. I knew many layers of Don. As I listened to Pastor Hicks , it was comforting. We were together as boyfriend & girlfriend in our teen years. Don always seemed to be searching for something. He found peace with the Lord. Don was supportive because he knew I am taking care of my mother. I miss our conversations and miss him every day but it is comforting to know he is at peace. Don called me from the hospital on the 19th. Of March. I knew , from how he spoke he would be at peace and out if pain soon. I had/have love for Don. Always have. ❤ Thank you for caring for him . The school uses a rigorous STEM + the Arts based curriculum with full time Spanish, Science, Art, PE and Music teachers on staff. She is thought by two great teachers who are well experienced in Montessori teaching. Kids are thought to be kind and caring to others at the same time they are thought to develop leadership skills too.They are thought how to be independent right from their young age. It is located in a very quite and peaceful complex which is best suited for Montessori teaching.
