  So in less than a week from now I will be beginning my long drive from Yakima Washington to Olalla recovery center. Up until about a month ago I never herd of the place. Which was a little shocking considering how many inpatient treatment facilities I’ve been through so far. Even through my multiple incarcerations here in Washington you would think somewhere along the time I would have herd about this place through all the conversations about drug use and treatment experiences. And now here I am a week away from adventuring my way through this hidden Gem and for the first time in a long time I’m excited about where this new journey in recovery will be taking me. It’s going to be pretty awesome looking back at this review and reflecting on how lost I was before going there to how alive I will be after leaving there. The reviews I’ve read so far have been monumental in giving me the confidence I need to drive the 4 hours to a world completely different then where I’m from and giving myself the chance to develop into a new way of life. So thank you Olallah for being a huge instrument in helping Addicts become the world changers that they are. So here’s to a new friendship! Can’t wait to become part of the family and the legacy!

  If you’re reading this and thinking about choosing Olalla for treatment, DO IT! Don’t believe any of the negative reviews. I was here for only 28 days in February of 2020 and I have been sober ever since (1 year and 4 months). This is the absolute best alternative to Christian-based recovery programs. I genuinely did not have hope I would recover until I went here. The staff, programs and property layout are incredible; They will help you change your life if you work for it. Whenever I think about my time there I tear up with happiness from the friendships, memories and what they’ve done for me. This wasn’t my first recovery program but I truly believe it was my last. Thank you so much for saving my life!! ❤️

  I am stoked to be able to go inpatient at Olalla in the coming weeks. They have been incredibly kind and Informative through the process w/insurance, questions, bed date, etc. I am grateful that this will be part of my foundation to achieve and maintain my sobriety. Thank you Gina, Tom and Linda for helping me so far! 💛

  Amazing place filled with amazing staff!
  
  Seriously, I was there for a total of 42 days and I loved my whole time there... All the staff genuinely care about your recovery and want/push you to succeed!
  
  The rooms were nice, mattresses were thick and comfy plus you got a big metal locker that had 2 drawers for your stuff. The rooms got cleaned daily and the bathrooms got cleaned during the day and while we all slept which was great!
  
  The classes were very informative and were full of excellent information and I especially loved the support group meeting which were essentially AA meetings with the residents.
  
  The location is beautiful... There's a big trail that goes around the whole facility and along the way you'll see like horses and alpacas.. I was even one day able to feed a horse grass and weeds by the fence and got to pet it a little! There's also a horseshoe game area, volleyball area, basketball area, garden, a big ol' nice field (that I saw my first baby deer on) and there's also bald eagles flying around above a lot which was pretty cool.
  
  Also it was nice as me being a smoker I smoke a lot.. there was plenty of opportunity for getting a smoke in which I appreciated!
  
  The food was also great (which the exception of like 1 or 2 dishes), there was also a salad bar and we had a snack every night (like cake and cookies)... Only bad thing is the food was so good I gained a few pounds lol
  
  But seriously, if you're ready to change your life and stop doing drugs/alcohol, then this is seriously the best choice for you if you're looking for a inpatient facility in Washington state.
  
  (Shouts out the Heather, Bamm, Dee Dee, Mari, Mike, Jen, Rick, Lois...Honestly shout out to all the staff there... great people!!)
