I grew up in Colorado, where they have cool parks on every corner it seems.
Then I moved to Port Townsend (BORING when it came to parks). So one day we took a trip out to Silverdale to do some shopping and found this jewel! The playground is smaller then the pictures show which was interesting. Great size for 5-8year olds.
BUT THE LAKE AND WALKING TRAILS!!!!! Yes!!!!!! When we found this,we came back for a second time with our paddle boards and had the best time of our life all day long.

(May 28, 2023, 1:39 pm)This week has a nice swimming area, plenty of picnic tables, perfect place to take a barbecue. It also has a rainsoft shower outside to watch on possibility of duck mites.
(March 29, 2023, 11:00 pm)Found this place completely by accident when I missed my turn and decided to see where the road took me. That wrong turn ended up being exactly right! Gorgeous park, community room, paved trails, swimming, fishing, ducks, playgrounds, multiple picnic areas, this place is just awesome. I can’t wait to come back and explore some more, definitely a fantastic family park. ❤️
(March 1, 2023, 11:02 am)I attended an event in the community room. It is a nice venue for a medium sized group. The kids were able to enjoy the playground. It was clean and maintained.
(January 22, 2023, 1:29 pm)Went here to fish last week. Not a bad park. They had a playground for the kids to play at. A walking path along the water. Sad to say I didn’t catch anything but the kids enjoyed walking around. Would be nice if they fixed the dock though. That would make a great fishing spot like it use to be.

It's a nice chill park with under cover pick I areas, places to BBQ, nice grassy areas to sit and have a picnic. Lots of tables to sit and eat and the park has a great view of the water. Kids play area is clean and bathrooms are close by."
