“Probably the best place to hike near Silverdale, Bremerton, or Port Orchard. A person feels like they are in a state park. Great signage and tons of trails to see! Update: trail logged in 2020, not very nice now. Board overseeing park says in statement that it will be decades before users see improvement from destruction. “Never judge a book by its cover. The outside of this building was definitely older and the wife and I were concerned about what the facility would be like. Once we entered we were extremely surprised and happy. The service at the desk was great and the chairs were very plush and comfortable. The arms of the chair move out of the way if you need them to. However, the seats we were in did not recline at all. But for the most part, this place was a pleasant surprise for us.”

“Setup kinda like a diner inside.. that plays the oldies jukebox music. I felt like I was zapped into the 80’s and loved it. The staff was quick friendly and efficient. I had the cod fish with mashed taters and onion rings. It came with garlic toast. Taters we’re homemade and delicious. The cod was tasty too. Good portion, I was full. Then I had the Italian lemon cream cake and it was fresh, moist and delicious. Old school vibe ;-)”
