Galloping Gerties Garage

Damian and the technicians at Gerties Garage are excellent. Had my Land Rover in for a leaky water pump which was diagnosed and fixed quickly and at a fair price. Additionally, Damian went through the entire vehicle and created a customized maintenance plan at no additional charge. Unlike most shops that 'fix and forget' I received a call from Damian a few days after the repair to check up on my vehicle. A check engine light had come on after the service and Damian and team promptly took the truck back in and went through everything to ensure it there was nothing wrong. In my long history of owning and servicing European vehicles (both at the dealer and independent shops) I can honestly say I've never experienced this level of service before. If you own a European car and want 'above and beyond' service, give them a call. (here's a picture of my truck just for fun)

We have had our Audi serviced at Galloping Gertie’s and have been more than pleased with their care. Damien is extremely responsive, knowledgeable and takes the time to answer all my questions either by email or in person. Service is also very prompt and reasonable.

I found Galloping Gertie's online and choose this shop based on the reviews. My 2013 Mini Cooper 2 door needed quite a few issues resolved. Thank you Damian, not only did you make me feel immediatrly comfortable, I appreciate your integrity and honesty. I can not express enough how happy I am with how the "beep beep" is running. Damian provided a 6 page diagnostic report and he priortized issues based on the safety of my mini; making sure to explain what could wait due to my finances. Never have I experienced a more non pressured and honest mechanic. I highly recommend this shop!!!!

Damian was very communicative, and knowledgeable about my car and the issues it was having. He understood our needs, and worked within our budget to strategize what had to be fixed now vs what could wait a bit. We appreciated very much his expertise and plan to continue to patronize his garage.
Additionally his garage and his workers were very clean and tidy. I love that he takes pride in that, as it's my feeling if you keep an organized and clean work area, then you are going to take good care of my car. That absolutely was my experience. Thank you!

From the moment I walked in the door, I knew that this is a business that prides itself on professionalism. The owner, Damian, is both personable and professional. He listened to my concerns, discerned my level of understanding of the combustion engine, and answered my initial questions at my level. Once the diagnostic studies were completed, I received a copy of their results, and then I spoke to him directly about the study results and how to prioritize the recommended service. Once we settled on the service, he provided a quote of the costs and a date for completion of the service. He and his staff completed the service as promised doing extra service at no extra cost for areas of needed repair encountered during the service.
