“Fun little spot on the water with good quality food. I tried the fish and chips, and it was pretty interesting. I loved the batter of the fish, it was crispy and flavorful. The chips were actually American fries, so I would recommend the chef to work a little on making some traditional British Chips to compliment that tasty fish. I give it 4 out of 5 stars because I think the chef can do better. If you are a fish and chips fan, make you sure you give this place a try.”

“This is a historic place in gig harbor. I've seen shirts for this tavern all over the country. It's iconic. They have an amazing fish and chips with even better tartar sauce. “We had the pleasure of staying at Gig Harbor RV Resort for 3 months during a travel nursing contract in the area. This is a fantastic place to stay. It's quiet, safe, and beautiful. The grounds are kept up very well, the laundry facility is nice, and staff is so kind. Jenna, the manager, made us feel so comfortable and welcome. They are so helpful and accommodating and communicative. We travel with 2 kids and 2 dogs, and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Also, being in the heart of Gig Harbor, it's an easy walk to the downtown area where you can enjoy all kinds of fun activities, food, and shops. There is a beautiful 6 mile walking trail right across the street too. Also, any grocery store/target/Home Depot/Costco needs you might have are within a couple miles as well. It really does have it all, and we miss it already! If we have a chance, we will absolutely stay here again. If you're in the area, we highly recommend a stay here, short term or long term, you'll enjoy it!”

“When you leave your child with essentially a stranger, it’s a scary feeling but when I drop my daughter off at Kindercare in Gig Harbor, it’s like dropping her off with family. I have no worries that she will be taken care of and will be happy. We get regular updates during the day, photos of what they’re doing, little gifts here and there of projects they are working on! How amazing is that! It’s all in an app too so everything is in one place and so easy to use! They say it takes a village to raise a child and I’m so happy to have this team as part of my family!”
