I bought a spike belt, it was missing a spike, the exchange was flawless, and the store clerk was very friendly and helpful.

I do miss when hot topic was goth and scary, it's still a fun store to go into- though it's now mostly a glorified disney store. They're really hitting us hard on the nostalgic factor with their current items. I'm a huge InuYasha fan so they almost got me, but a lot of their stuff has weird chibi versions of the characters which don't appeal to me so that's saved me some money for sure.

I was searching for an outfit for Halloween and ended up picking out a few things and spent a long time trying on a ton of stuff. I had a wonderful experience and the employees were amazing. Maria helped me a ton and was very attentive and patient. Ithalia was also very helpful and they both were very kind!

Let's start by saying this store is not for everyone. It's only for people who appreciate the different and the unique. Super cool and friendly staff will help you choose/find clothing and accessories that range from goth to Lolita style (including piercings of all kinds).
