“Stopped by today and they still have worship services. The people were very friendly and peaceful. The overall atmosphere was pleasant where people can relax and learn. The pastor does great work in his teachings and has a firm grasp of the word. I highly recommend this place for people and families. Also, they have coffee and tea. Masks are not required and not frowned upon for wearing.”

“A must have, all people of every sort are welcome to attend meetings, I love my spiritual healthy family found here. Even though Covid-19 has us, at most times, captured at home, no longer meeting at this Kingdom Hall for now, we meet together online, using the Internet. Between this and JW.org information, our being educated continues with Bible understanding that builds us up, giving us courage, to be strong and loving toward all we might come in contact with, in want of sharing the good news found in the Bible.”

“I came to Celebration church a year ago. That has been the ONLY CHURCH that I felt 1000% at home, and knew right then and there, that I finally found my church (and family), forever!! I LOVE MY CHURCH!!”

“Excellent place to join with others who praise the Lord in all things! A traditional WELS Lutheran Church”

“Not really a review of the church itself but the building is a visual hazard. People routinely run the stop sign on 59th crossing Yakima and this building makes it impossible to see them coming eastbound if you are headed north which caused me to have the worst automobile accident of my life when traveling at normal speed on Yakima I t-boned a driver running the 59th street stop sign when I was about 20 feet from the intersection. Be cautious and aware.”

“A very nice, welcoming parish. Our first time here, we wanted to go to the 4 PM Mass. We were welcomed at the end of the Mass by the Father and the parish. It's smaller church. There is a Station's of the Cross walk outside in the back of the church. I didn't get to go on it. But plan to.”

“Love this place bro. Idk who leaves a google review on a church but lovely people, awesome worship, the coffee is sorta mid but all church coffee is like that, but they also have tea so that’s fire. And most importantly everyone here is on fire for Christ bro. Best church ever IMO.”

“The preschool is incredible. A really fun, highly educational and genuinely caring establishment. My son is more than ready for kindergarten next year. My younger son will begin at Celebration Friends in the fall. The teachers are enthusiastic and joyful. The office staff, youth minister and minister are warm and friendly. Any questions or concerns are addressed thoughtfully and with compassion. They care about their students. They care about the families. From what I can tell they all are happy to be there and work as a team. Recess is spent with all classes and all teachers on the playground with the students. Children are able to make friends outside of just their class and learn the valuable lesson of respecting all the teachers/grownups at the school. If you aren’t sure where to send your child or are at all worried about how your child will do, whether it’s their first year or second, this is the caring, understanding and just plane fun school for you and your child. I also wrote a rather long review on yelp with initials CB in case you want a more in depth review.”

“I found this great small church a couple of years ago. I was sucked in by the friendly atmosphere and the abundance of good people that genuinely seem to care about others. When you walk into the door you are overcome by a sense of peace as if you just found a new home. Pastor Steve knows His word and his teachings are as invigorating as they are fortifying. Come to Sunday service and see for yourself.”

“Wonderful, helpful Christian people who are really trying to follow Jesus and to help people get free from the things that hold us down. Pastor Wolfe and his wife Joel are pretty awesome and have found many ways to help with spiritual freedom through classes, life groups, womens ministry, weekly sermons and lots more. If you want to follow Jesus, I would highly recommend.”

“This church is scripture focused, no nonsense, non showy, and God centered. If you want to hear the Gospel, learn how to love and serve others, while also learning about biblical concepts, then you will be fed and hopefully also challenged to grow in your walk of faith in God.”

“Oh my goodness! Do you love history? This is Tacoma's oldest church AND building! Built in 1873, it was put on the National Registrar in 1974. No matter what religion you are, you'll be warmly welcomed by its parish members to enjoy coffee and a treat before the service at 10 a.m. on Sundays. The church itself is just charming and lovely inside! Imagine yourself there when sailing ships were on the waterfront and folks came to praise God by horse and buggy.”
