“This nursery and store is exceptional at finding uncommon/rare plants and veggies. You can also buy chickens here too! The staff is amazing, and they respond to text messages promptly. The are through when sending messages over txt. Definitely a high-end quality store. If you want cheap/generic there is always the Walmart & Fred Meyer Garden centers! Other great local shops (of this caliber) are: Jungle Fever Exotics, Wild Thyme Nursery, Portland Ave. Nursery & Watson's garden center. None of the other stores I have listed stock live chickens!”

“Angelo is a very talented and knowledgeable guy. He knows his Harley's, takes time to answer questions - in detail and helps you understand your bike even more than you did prior to bringing your bike to him. You can see it in his work but also hear it from him that he takes pride in his craftsmanship and with your bike. I took my 2013 V-rod Muscle to him with neck bearing issues and for them to install new tires. It was quick getting my bike in and out of there at a reasonable price. I had used Destination HD in the past for some work and parts. When I went looking for new tires before this latest set I went to Destination and the parts guys visually inspected the tires on my bike, which were Scorcher 11's. Apparently he forgot that fact between my and his parts book and ordered a Scorcher 11 front tire and a Dunlop Elite 3 rear. Then the tech at Destination HD installed and test drove my bike. To my defense I assumed all was good when I ordered them, picked up the bike, took it home, washed it and that is were I spotted their mistake. Actually 2 mistakes, 1. The parts guy ordering mismatch set of tires and 2. The HD tech not spotting or making me aware. Never again for me taking my bike to Destination HD. The only reason I convey this little story about Destination HD is when I brought my bike to C & A Customs, He ordered and installed the correct set of tires (Michelin Scorcher 11's) and replaced my neck bearings because they were toast. He even kept the neck bearing for me to see them and the bottom one was toast. Pictured below.”

“Cute little (well not really THAT little) nursery tucked away just off of Waller Rd. They're closing for the season so there are a lot of plants on sale for quite a bit of savings!! Hurry and don't miss as I believe the sale goes on until this Sunday the 31st (don't quote me on that though). Lovely plants that are well taken care of and the staff are EXTREMELY polite. I had fun shopping with my sister as we both snuck away from our husbands to do what was forbidden... BUY MORE PLANTS! But, hey.. what's a gal to do :)”

“Headers fit great in a 70 Cougar with 351W, FMX, and power steering. I also bought power steering drop bracket, fit perfect. I installed headers from underneath still wrapped in shipping material to avoid scratches. I have new engine mounts, so I did not have to lift engine.”

“Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon just to check the place and cure an itch of wanting to see what slot car racing was all about. Jim the owner was present and made me feel right at home. He provided an over abundance of information and details of the hobby. I ended up renting a car and playing on the track for almost an hour. It was a very enjoyable experience and one that will definitely having me come back for more. He informed me that on Friday nights they have a friendly race night broken up into 2 classes. (Novice & Expert) He said it was only $6.00 dollar entry fee for the night or just come to watch. Seriously? $6 bucks? I asked how can you keep the lights on if you only charge $6.00 not to mention renting time on the track was just as inexpensive. He replied that he was retired and that he thoroughly enjoyed sharing his passion with the pubic. Thank you Jim for sharing your passion. I can’t wait to come back and share my experience with my friends.”

“I had a great shopping experience at Mr. Bills Mercantile today. Emmalynne (hope I spelt that right) was extraordinarily cool and patient with me while I shopped around. I'm the guy that has questions and wants to inspect/compare products before I purchase, and she was more than happy to accommodate, and overall just had a great attitude. I usually try to visit The Green Door and Mr. Bills equally since they're both great shops, but I usually lean towards Green Door, since in the past (awhile ago) I've felt a bit rushed by staff in Mr. Bills. I guess they're under new management now and today I did not feel rushed at all, and everyone was super kind. I don't know what changed, but keep it up guys and gals! Very friendly service. Oh and Emmalynne, if you're reading this, I just realized that my space cadet brain forgot to leave a tip for you. I will tip you 2x next time for your outstanding service, and I will be back soon! Promise! Hey, Emmalynne's boss - you should give that girl a raise, she deserves it!”
