I've had the pleasure of receiving care and treatments from Dr. Kuo earlier this year (2021) mainly for my shoulder pain, and its limitations. What I enjoyed is that during our treatment plan we uncovered various underlying causes and instead of treating an isolated symptom, there was a holistic approach to the process of healing. For example, having the right kinds of nutrition, using supplements, exercises and the hands on treatments received at the facility, all aided in my recovery. And beyond the problems I initially sought treatment for, Dr. Kuo is devoted to helping me improve my overall health. For example, during regular evaluation, I had mentioned about my body running generally warmer during sleep at night, which affects my sleep quality. He recommended specific herbal supplements, which had an immediate positive effects on my first night taking it. I think many odd abnormalities arise especially during these Covid days which most people would write off, but I highly recommend seeking treatment from an eastern medicine approach which strives to examine the root of the issue, to improve the overall health, mentally and physically.

Dr. Kuo is very understanding, making it easy to talk to about any health issue I've experienced. He has consistently shown patience and respect when listening to my concerns; never have I felt any pain or discomfort while receiving acupuncture treatments from him! Although he seems fairly booked, I've always been able to get an appointment within a week of requesting. Super convenient!! I may have gone in specifically for back pain, but his sharp mind found other issues I never realized were problematic.
