Sports Physical Therapy Lake Stevens

I’m a Veteran with chronic knee pain. I love running ever since I was young. My primary care said I have arthritis of the knees and it will be difficult for me to run again. I asked for a PT referral from the VA and I ended up going to Sports PT in Lake Stevens. Dr. Hughes and his team did an amazing job in rehabilitating my knees. They were very engaged and reassuring in reaching my goals. Even the front desk secretary, Liz will make sure you are squared away with your appointments. There are times I didn’t want to show up to my appointment cause it hurts. Though I have to say, Dr. Hughes will provide you the tools you need, all you need to do is put in the work. I’m happy to say, after 15 sessions and extra work, I’m able to run again, pain free! I appreciate Dr. Hughes and his team of professionals who helped me recover from my knee pain. I highly recommend going to Sports PT.

I have been going to aquatic physical therapy twice a week for one month now because I am preparing for weightless surgery and then hip replacement surgery.
So far, I feel like my mobility issues are improving and my and I have more flexibility and less pain! 🥲

If you need physical therapy, this is the place to go. Jake, Andrea and the entire team are very knowledgeable and professional. They also are very personable. They all make you feel at ease and comfortable.
I had never even thought about needing physical therapy until my chiropractor suggested I go in and have them see if they could do something. I was suffering from what I thought was lower back pain and turned out to be my sacroiliac joint. Jake took his time and gave me a free evaluation, which was very thorough and informational.
I was told I had one leg slightly shorter than the other. So I was wearing a lift in my shoe. He said; after just a few minutes during the free evaluation, he didn’t think I needed it and that my difference in the length of my legs was just a normal slight difference that a lot of people have. I got that confirmed from another doctor, who took x-rays and measured my bones, Jake was correct. I stopped wearing a lift which was actually aggravating the problem. They got to the root of my problem and I feel so much better. The exercises they gave me are now part of my routine and I will be much better off because of their help and training.
If you are dealing with any kind of pain, I suggest you see Sports Physical Therapy in Lake Stevens, and see if they can help you. They take their time with you and really get to know you and your problem and figure out a solution. I’m very impressed with them and extremely glad I went. I highly recommend them.

11/10. One of the best physical therapy places I’ve ever been. Not only are they focused on your healing process but they truly care and verify you’re fine throughout the entire process. Always fun and exciting when you get there, feels like family business. If you’re around the Lake Stevens area don’t hesitate to call, Jake and his wonderful team will have you feeling amazing in little time.

My son and I both got hurt around the same time. Liz worked with our busy schedule to get us both in at convenient times.

Jake, Trevor, and Andrea worked with us. They make a great team. By the end we were both pain-free and back to normal.

They are professional, knowledgeable, and caring. They paid attention to our symptoms and checked in with us regularly. They adjusted exercises based on how we were doing.

I recommend going to see Jake and his team if you need physical therapy. I have went to a couple of other PT places and SPT was my best experience!
