Such a great trail to hike, walk, run, skate, bike or whatever method you choose to propel yourself down the path. Nice views of the countryside, and plenty of places to stop to rest. The trail head has a playground for the kiddos and places for picnics or just to spread out in the grass.

We rode our bikes just a short 6.2 miles round trip and then took our daughter to the little park after and she loved the train part of it. Nice and clean other people were there and we exchanged hellos and went about our day. We will definitely come back!

This is a very well-kept Park had an amazing Trail on both ends. You'll find plenty of space some kids climbing toys and a well-maintained area. Bring your bicycle skateboard dogs . This is what a park is supposed to be. Props to the Machias and Lake Stevens Community for making this happen!

It is a perfect middle rest stop from pilchuck trailhead about 3 miles. Then we stop in lake Stevens, another 3 miles, then we turn around and rest again, get a drink of water and finish the last 3 miles.

This is by far our favorite bike trail in the area to take the kids. My 5 years old and 9 year old can easily go a few miles on the interurban trail here. The community is super nice and everyone has been respectful. There is also a little playground here. Nothing fancy and no swings. The area is very well kept and we will be coming back for years to come.
