“As a vegan, it’s difficult to find a trustworthy business that knows and understands what Vegan means. (Especially in Granite Falls) This business, and specifically Nicole, has gone above and beyond to ensure every plate I order is accurate to how I order it! I order Sesame Tofu with vegan fried rice, and every order Nicole ensures my food has no cross contamination with animal products. This place has quickly become a serious favorite of mine. I actually miss going to work some days because that means I don’t get tofu for lunch! I would highly recommend this place to anyone that has a vegan diet. It’s some of the tastiest to-go food I’ve had in the 10 plus years as a vegan. Special thanks again to Nicole and her amazing customer service abilities. “Our server was just lovely! The food was delicious! The scallops and king crab are highly recommended! Cooked to perfection! Also the Mai Tai and Chardonnay were very good as well. “Got to hang out on the grass while the tables dried with their new coat of purple paint. Enjoyed a burger and shake with the kids and husband after a nice hike in gold bar today. We haven't had king Charley's in a long time, so like everything else the prices went up, which is too bad, but we get it. And it was worth the 60 dollars because we got to feed the whole family and take a break while we recovered from our earlier adventures. Service was excellent those workers are doing a dang good job and they were efficient, and I could see they were hot in there so the mama bear In me wanted to ask if they were drinking plenty of water. One of the workers I could see when he touched the raw meat he took that glove off and finished wrapping up the food and put a fresh glove on. I appreciate a good work ethic, and not being lazy about it. I see the place is well taken care of and clean. Lines are usually long, but if you have the patience to wait,you will get a good meal out of the deal. Thanks for a great service you 3 (two males, 1 female) they also greeted us,smiled, and Said have a nice day. I really appreciate that. Makes me want to go back despite the prices.”

“I'm giving this a four star based on the side of the fact it's off the highway and comparing to other joints in the area. A fantastic location just off the highway and comfortable restaurant to grub when on the move and looking for a quick veggie-friendly pan Asian fusion dish. I love the fact that they had multiple vegetarian options with humongous and plentiful tofu portions! The portions were oversized to be honest, but almost there with a varied wholesome portioned approach with plenty of veggies, proteins and rice. I regret getting the Vegetable Spring rolls as they were crazy greasy. The lady owner is a super nice woman and takes a lot of pride in her work and restaurant. Support local businesses!”

“At the time of my visit, Chk a Boom is take out via Arnie's, not a separate restaurant, so it was confusing to find. The signs are not clear. The chicken sandwiches are quality made, juicy, and flavorful. I got the Nashville Hot, which wasn't particularly spicy at all. It is a messy sandwich that 10 min drive home was enough to get a soggy bun. The pickle fries were tasty but quite greasy and soggy from the container. My group's Thai Sweet Chili and Bourbon Brie chicken burgers were reported to be very tasty. Price point felt high for size of burger and other options in Seattle. I would order again but would consume immediately at the nearby beach.”

“Went on a Thursday evening for my mother's birthday. This venue is huge and we were seated promptly. Our server Lisa offered phenomenal service. We got the loaded potato skins, prime rib which came with a side salad, and coconut cream pie. The portions are QUITE generous. “I was surprised to see this spot in the middle of a business park. I've been going here after hours to practice skateboarding in the empty parking lots and decided to try it out for lunch today. I'd definitely order here again! *Experience: 5/5 - I prescheduled my order online through Yelp. Super easy and my order was ready for pick-up when I arrived. *Tofu banh mi: 5/5 - I ordered mine with extra cilantro and pickled vegetables. I really like that the bread isn't a full baguette with rounded ends. It's much nicer to eat this rectangular version with ends cut off. The bread was also a great texture: crunchy on the outside, soft inside, and not too thick. Veggies were fresh. The tofu is different from any other banh mi I've had - they use the thinner type of fried/breaded tofu and it's slightly sweet. Good amount (not too much) mayo, so the bread didn't get soggy. They also use the whole stalk of cilantro, which I prefer since the stems taste the same and are crunchy - but keep that in mind if you don’t like the stems. *Vietnamese iced coffee: 5/5 - Was a 16 oz to-go cup. Delicious and sweet. I could have used a little more coffee and less condensed milk, but that's just my preference.”

We ordered the scallops for our appetizer - cooked well but all the seasoning was in a very thin gravy that didn’t catch on to the scallops, for entrees we got the jerk pork loin - was overcooked and tough but the rice that came and the flavors were great, and the curried goat - cooked perfectly, soft and well seasoned. The cocktails were potent but taste wise they fell a bit flat.”

The owner was really wonderful, and her teenage daughter (I believe it was her daughter) displayed some incredible customer service by suggesting a smaller portion for an item we had ordered. “Went for dinner on Friday night, a nice place with good number of options. But as non-Spanish people we had difficulty in understanding the menu as there is no description about the items. It would be nice to have some details on ingredients under each item. Ambience is nice, there is outside dining as well but we couldn’t use it as it was raining, service is okay. The person attending our table seems to be new as their usual answer for most of the questions was “I am not sure”.
