“Had a great experience with Greater Eastside Painting! The owner Tim came out for an quote, which I found was just slightly less than another company I got a quote from. In addition to price, I chose Greater Eastside because of the professionalism and thoroughness Tim displayed. I was pretty particular on the dates I wanted and Greater Eastside was able to accommodate those dates perfectly! Pro tip: this company is in demand so start this process early to ensure you get your preferred dates too! I started my process about 2 months out, just to be sure. On to the actual painting: I was thoroughly impressed by the painters’ work. My project was to repair, caulk, and paint mill work which I had recently installed. I was amazed by the repairs the painters made to all the chips in the frame, and filling larger-than-average gaps (door frames are built for 1/2 in dry wall and I had 5/8 in). I’ve included a before and after shot for comparison. My only small complaint was that there were a couple areas that got overlook so I had to have them come back out. The upside is that they followed through with the last couple items and didn’t call the job “done” until I was happy. 10/10 would recommend!”

“If you are traveling in the area and need to do laundry this is the facility you want to visit. Doors close at 9 and you should have your wash started before 8. This facility provides an ATM and a machine to load cards which you use to pay for using the machines. The facility was very clean and had a lot of machines. We came after attendant hours but when we needed help a member of their staff came by to assist. Washing machines were very fast and efficient. Dryer was gentle on our clothes. There were carts for moving laundry, tables to fold, a dispenser for detergent, a vending machine for sodas, and a shelf of books to read while you wait. Prices are a bit high for the washing machines (we used one that was $7.50/wash) but I felt happy with the service I received at this facility.”

We met with a number of different deck contractors and Forest Construction stood out head and shoulders above the rest. They were able to get our permit issued in no time flat, and before we knew it, we had a crew working week in and week out until our beautiful new deck was complete. No detail was too small to escape notice for these guys and if I had a request or question they were always quick to respond and assist. We have some future carpentry work coming up including building a custom arbor, and Forest Construction will be getting our business.”

“Great shop with great people. I have used A to Z for years and have found them to be professional, expert technicians, and honest. I've had them do over 100 transmission repairs for my dealership and I can remember only one time we had a comeback (and that was resolved immediately). Very good repair quality. Honesty in transmission repairs is HUGE! Several times I had brought them a car expecting to spend several thousand but they found the problem to be a couple hundred dollar repair. Not all shops do this! I would highly recommend A to Z transmission.”

“This church has a kitchen and social reception area that is rented out to the local Marysville Rock and Gem Club. If you would like to join the club, the meetings are at 7 p.m. starting in September, always the second Tuesday of every month. Although, during Covid-19 lockdown and last year there were no meetings. The kitchen and hall area are all in one room and it accommodates around eighty or more club members. You leave it clean, just like you found it. The cost to be a member of the Marysville Rock and Gem club is ten dollars a year per person or twenty dollars a year per family. The next club show will be held at the Monroe State Fairgrounds on the Saturday and Sunday of October's first weekend! Free admission and a ticket for free prizes drawn on every hour! Glorious club displays of lifetime passion for rocks and minerals! A children's table only for a Silent Auction and many fantastic items for sale. Vendors selling slabs of stone, amber, fossils, Silent Auction tables of specimens and food vendors! Remember, this show is at the Monroe State Fairgrounds on the first weekend in October. Entrance is free! The church has Marysville Rock and Gem Club parking for the meetings in the back of the church. If you need more information about rental costs, please call the church office. They are very accommodating. We are very thankful they have begun renting the hall again. Do one nice thing for someone today, enjoy the fresh air and be kind!😄”

“At the time of my visit, Chk a Boom is take out via Arnie's, not a separate restaurant, so it was confusing to find. The signs are not clear. The chicken sandwiches are quality made, juicy, and flavorful. I got the Nashville Hot, which wasn't particularly spicy at all. It is a messy sandwich that 10 min drive home was enough to get a soggy bun. The pickle fries were tasty but quite greasy and soggy from the container. My group's Thai Sweet Chili and Bourbon Brie chicken burgers were reported to be very tasty. Price point felt high for size of burger and other options in Seattle. I would order again but would consume immediately at the nearby beach.”
