“I love pastor Merrill and the Riverside Seventh Day Adventisit Church in Washougal, WA. I was homeless and living on the street in Portland, OR. I brought some homeless friends of mine and we attended Christmas service at the church. The entire congregation is loving and welcoming. The church also serves a meal once a week to anyone in the community. I can't express my gratitude for what this church and Pastor Merrill did for me when I was lost and broken. I have since returned home to my family and have created a new Foundation to help families in crisis in my community.”

“I am a member of a group that meets here regularly. Great location, meeting spaces, parking, and rents. If you need a regular space to meet -- or just a one-time use of a large room with a stage, full kitchen, and plenty of tables and chairs. Unless you want to do a LOT of decorating, it's probably not the place for your wedding. But it would be great for birthdays and other holiday parties, plus workshops and other professional events. “I cannot rate Sunrise of Issaquah highly enough. Our mother was scheduled to move in April 2020 which was delayed due to COVID. Initially, she was assessed for a lower-care floor, but when she was finally able to move in her mental state had declined significantly. Sunrise adapted and moved her to the Reminiscence Floor. I cannot praise Sunrise highly enough in this review for how they have helped my mom settle in and live her best life. She had difficulty settling in, but rather than treating her as a problem, Sunrise staff respected her dementia and helped us work through how to best help her. Dementia can be a hard road for any family - particularly when you live far away. But through it all the staff and administration at Sunrise made us feel like we were a part of a team caring for our mother. They were as happy as we were when mom's agitation settled. The care is professional and personal at the same time. From the Executive Director down to those setting the tables at meal times - everyone knows and cares for the residents. If you are lucky enough to get a loved one a place at Sunrise of Issaquah - take it. This is A+ quality care and a great team of people. Thank you!!!”
