“I couldn’t be happier with the way I was treated at the William Street Miracle Ear in Cheektowaga. I first spoke with Marie, the front office assistant. She was very helpful and answered all my questions. Then I met Justin, the hearing aid technician. Talk about knowledgeable! He’s been doing this for 16 years now, plus he has a great sense of humor as well. He tested my hearing, gave me a ton of information and all the options of hearing aids to choose from. He even let me take a pair home to try them out, then ordered me a new pair and custom fitted them to my ears. I ended up choosing the best quality hearing aids that they offer. Yes, they were expensive, but how can you put a price on your hearing? Especially after years of saying “what?” All day long. I’ve also been back a couple of times for service and they are always happy to help. I am very happy that I chose this location, based on the friendliness and the knowledge of the people here. Plus, I can hear again!”

I respect his work so much that I felt literally obligated to post this review to counter the one star reviews. He is knowledgeable and communicates well. You can feel that he genuinely cares about you, much unlike the run of the mill machine driven psychiatrists you will likely encounter with an HMO (EG Kaiser). If you are an intellectual that likes to do your own research and present your ideas and research to him, he will discuss it with you and discuss his experiences with such solutions - valuable insight from somebody who has been in the field for many many years. I have never in my life had such an open line of communication from a psychiatrist. I can only hope that two psychiatrists of Dr. Schilt's quality replace him in the field when he retires, and dread the day he does.”
