“I saw Dr Bear in Gig Harbor and I was very pleased. I had my knee replacement done by another doctor in December 2017 and I’ve lots of pain. I was pooh-poohed by my ortho doctor who finally retired and I saw Dr Bear. He believed me and sent me for a two phase nuclear bone scan and turns out the bottom part of my knee replacement is loose. He listens and is the most compassionate, kindest MD and I’ve recommended him to others. Great doctor!!”

“I didn’t think it was going to be possible, but I gave birth to my son at home in peace. After 2 rough (to say the least) hospital births, I was dreading having my third baby the same way. At 20 weeks pregnant I decided to make the switch to Natural Beginnings Midwifery. They took me on no problem, working with my insurance, even though my iron levels were so low when I started with them that I wasn’t sure if I would even be able to have the birth I was hoping for. They put me on a natural iron and herb supplement and within a couple weeks I was doing much better. I always felt relaxed and comfortable during every visit I had with Marie, Melissa, and Chelsea. They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, but not pushy or judgmental. Even though I was nervous about having my first home birth, my prenatal visits with them made me feel more confident and relaxed. When my labor started, they made it to my home quickly and immediately began preparations. I felt safe and comfortable the entire time they were in my home. During the birth I was able to do things as I felt right and they allowed it to be a family experience, only stepping in when it was necessary. I had a water birth in my room with my family surrounding me and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I will remember the experience for the rest of my life and I’m thankful that I had such a great midwife team in the process. A few days after I had my baby I did have to stay in the hospital with him to treat his jaundice. They continued to offer support and check up on us, answering any questions that I had. For prenatal care, birth, and postpartum I 100% recommend this midwife team to anyone looking to do things the natural way.”

The nurses at urgent care check in were all so kind and fun; my 3 year old was scared at first, but they coaxed her out of her shell with stickers and fun. When we were taken into the room, the nurse was amazing and showed our child so much respect and kindness. The doctor was fast and efficient, and didn’t make us wait forever to see us. “I took my almost 1yo to Hello Kids dentistry for his first dental visit. They are absolutely wonderful! Such a bright and inviting office. The dental hygienist/assistant was amazing and let my son play with the toothbrush and warm up to her before she started brushing his teeth. When Dr. Annikka came in to check his teeth I wasn’t sure how he would do because he hates his mouth being looked at. But he let her look while she sang him two songs. They were so friendly and happy to answer any questions. Highly recommend!”
