Was a great place for my father to have the best care for him all the nurses staff was just wonderful and great even the grounds of the hospital was beautiful with all the trees and even the deer on the property and overlooking the lake to me it was a peaceful place I visited the VA at Christmas time for five years up until my father's death 😢 on March 23rd 1993.... even one of the nurses thought my dad was handsome from the pictures back from the Korean War.... now my dad lays to rest in the new Tacoma Cemetery military US Army 🇺🇸 section. If you have a soldier this is the VA Hospital you want them to be in.... thank you very much American Lake veteran Medical Center....”

This practice has kept all of its values to treat each patient individually, listen to them, ask important questions, and they are not going to pass judgement and make you feel bad if you haven’t been to the dentist in a long time. “We have two kids here and have been here for over a year and a half. Our oldest has celiac disease. They have been so careful and accommodating to our particular needs. She has thrived here, making friends and enthusiastically learning new skills. The staff provides fun, age-appropriate activities and finds unique ways to teach the kids all the state "benchmarks." Our oldest recently 'graduated' here. She is beyond ready for Kinder, thanks to the excellent teachers here. I would say that we will miss them terribly, but our youngest is staying on as his big sister moves on. We are so happy! Things that I appreciate here are the communication between parents and staff. I always know what is happening. They ALWAYS ask questions about my daughter's dietary and lifestyle needs instead of just assuming. When they need to close, they always give advance notice. Like the one week of the year the family (that owns and runs the facility) takes a vacation. Even in inclement weather, they are great about notifying parents. They have been open on many days when I would have understood them closing. Hours and pricing are completely reasonable. The staff has even patiently waited for me on more than one occasion when I was stuck in traffic. We have had every type of childcare experience: other facilities, a nanny, and in-home care. This is by far my favorite experience and my kids!”

“The stylists that worked there today were the absolute best! They were so patient and kind. She walked my daughter through her process of getting her hair dyed for the first time. They were so kind to the both of us. I never dyed my hair before and I have to say they listened to me, did what I asked for, and I am in love with my hair again. I have had grey hair from a very young age and haven’t loved my hair in over 10 years. I will most definitely come here again. I highly recommend. They were the sweetest ladies. Even when an angry customer was screaming curse words at them they kept their cool and were professional. The angry customer was mad about the long wait, but they are a walk in service, so it’s first come first served. He didn’t like it. As I said, they handled it very professionally.”
