“Prior to deciding upon Raspberry Gardens for my sister, I visited countless other adult family homes in search of the absolute best for her. Fortunately, I found the best in Raspberry Gardens. I am so grateful to Rahel and her staff for the expert, loving care they demonstrate every moment of every day. The transition to an adult family home can be traumatic for the resident and his or her family members, but Rahel’s house is so warm and inviting that everything has gone far better than I dreamed. My sister is thriving in her new environment after having “given up” when she lived in a skilled nursing facility. Now she wakes up with a smile knowing that she’s safe and treated with the utmost respect. Rahel’s house is lovely and situated in a great, safe, embracing neighborhood. My sister’s room is bright, cherry, and spotlessly clean. Rahel even provided her with a comfy recliner so that she could read, relax, and watch tv in her room. I’ve composed a list of all the outstanding features of living at Raspberry Gardens to help prospective residents and their families make an informed choice: Excellent medical care with regularly schedule visits from the house physician and visiting nurses Each resident has a call button; help is only footsteps away Tasty, nutritious, and plentiful food (3 meals per day plus snacks whenever a resident wants them) A true family atmosphere (Rahel’s young children are frequent visitors and interact with the residents as if they were relatives) Careful attention to each resident’s hygiene A lovely outdoor deck overlooking a well-manicured lawn and trees Liberal visitation hours for family members (I am a frequent visitor – both announced and unannounced. Each time I am amazed by the great care!) Full day-to-day services: laundry, housekeeping, you name it Open lines of communication…zero red tape. You call and Rahel or one of her staff answers the phone Constant feedback on how things are going for the resident An efficient, well-run home sweet home These are just a few of the attributes of Raspberry Gardens. There are many, many more! My sister and I feel very fortunate!”
