“Great place to study, find a book ect… I’ve always had a great experience here. The staff is helpful and it is easy to find if what your looking for is at the library. The renovations give a clean and modern look and I love the addition of study rooms!”

“Twin Rivers Correctional Unit (TRU) is part of Monroe Correctional Complex, a State prison 20 miles north of Seattle. While no prison is a picnic, the administration of the prison is serious about rehabilitation and bringing volunteer services to the inmates. The library is just one of the services that the men can use to rehabilitate their lives. Having been a volunteer there since 2013 for Toastmasters, Freedom Project, and now running a Defy Ventures program on the inside, I can say that TRU and those running it deserve credit!”

“Was able to get a Super Mario book that we were having a hard time finding. My son was really happy when he found out we were able to get it. This library overall is one of the nicer ones. They have a garden where you can hang out and read in peace. I honestly didn't even know it existed if it wasn't for a visit I made to the Kaiser that's near by.”

“KRL Port Orchard Branch. Easy to find. Parking a little confusing to new visitor. Library well-appointed with helpful, courteous staff. Overall on my first visit, I was impressed ... and I have been using local libraries in several American cities for 60 years.”

“My kids and I love this library, inside and out! The nature area outside makes great place for the kids to run around or to sit down on a bench and read a book. The inside of the library is modern and well taken care of. Their book selection is really good as well.”

“While in lockdown during the pandemic, this library is great at bringing your holds out to you at a table in front of the entrance. They also offer "surprise" bags which are 5 books or dvds or magazines, etc. of a certain genre/topic such as fiction, history, thriller, mystery, current events, true crime and others. I have found new authors I wouldn't have discovered otherwise. I hope they continue to offer these bags once the pandemic is over. Great library and staff!”

“This location has a very open layout with lots of computers for use by guests and patrons. This branch is smaller than many others but has similar resources as other branches. Many students come here to hang out and use the computers. Despite the younger crowd, it is generally quiet. They also have some personal use booths where you can study, set up a laptop (plugs provided), or take care of business. There are restrooms and a fairly larger conference room. Overall, this library has everything a busy person could need.”
