They were both so sad to leave because they absolutely LOVED it there! For me as a parent, this place left my heart at ease every time I had to leave on business trips for several weeks because I knew my girls were going to be well taken care of. I have seen continued growth in each my children, and the recitals provide opportunity for the kids to perform for others. Shala will work with you on in person or remote lessons, and is flexible on scheduling. I would highly suggest giving her a call if piano lessons is something you are shopping around for.”

“As a student who attended this school, it is not all terrible. It´s not even bad. All the bad reviews may have somewhat a point, but the teachers are amazing, the staff overall are some great people. Though the swearing may get over used, it´s not the worst school out there. Free dress code, great food, nice staff, and for all those people who think fights break out often, you are WRONG. Being SAFE, KIND, and ENGAGED is their priority. Having the kids SAFE is their top priority, and they all are doing a great job of keeping the protected while they are in the classrooms. They have freedom to do things that are appropriate at school, and for the fire alarm thing, it stopped. The kids have calmed down, and the overall fighting and cruelty has died down. Though some mishaps happen, it overall is a GREAT, SAFE, and awesome school where I´ve met some awesome people.”

He's always been very patient and encouraging and has a great sense of professionalism and courtesy. My son looks forward to his lessons every week and always leaves wanting to get started on the assignments Stan gives him for the week. “OAmazing school. Great teachers. Great students. We're on of the two top schools in the Vancouver school district in athletics and test scores. Teachers are very supportive and helpful. They will help you with anything if you need it or are confused. Most students are very polite and caring and helpful. One of the only, I think the only school in the VPS district that has two electives. 2 electives create happy students who get to try things that they may not have time to do outside of school. Students get a break to do something fun. Thomas Jefferson really encourages student involvement. Even if your not in a elective, you could still get picked for an activity during a spirit assembly. This is a great school full of students who want to and are willing to learn with the help of teachers that want to help them.”
