“If anyone is looking for daycare centers, DO NOT GO TO ALICE’S PRECIOUS JEWELS. My daughter went there this past week, and she came home with scratches on her stomach, one side of her face was VERY red, like someone slapped her, and they were not giving her her daily medication. She was coming home VERY distraught, wasn’t playful like she usually is, and just didn’t seem like the baby I had a week ago. When I asked about the medication, they told me “She’s too high needs and we can’t keep up with giving her meds.” This center has already been reported to the abuse number I was given by the state. But please, if you want someone to love and care for your children, do not take them to this daycare! “I'm an adult student at Aubrey's Music Studio and I have learned so much in my time there. I started there with some minimal knowledge from a college class years ago and she has reinforced my understanding of music reading, theory, and playing ability. I am able to look at a piece of music assigned to me and understand the various components that make up a song. She is easily available to answer questions through email or seesaw between lessons and has a huge collection of resources to help all different kinds of learners. I especially love that she focuses on creating a real understanding of the music and a love of music so that her students will continue to explore music they enjoy and will have the ability to interpret it on their own. I am always look forward to my lessons with her and am excited to see what I will learn next!”

“My son has been attending Harney since Kindergarten. Yes, he has been involved in a couple physical and verbal incidents and each was addressed by faculty and dealt with up to my standards, including contacting their parents. My son is in 5th grade this year and he LOVES Harney! He has made long lasting friends, played in championship basketball and he has learned SO much from Harney. I believe his teachers over the years have had alot to do with that. I give them 5 stars! My daughter attended kindergarten last year and she absolutely LOVES school. Mrs. Goforth (who also taught my son in kinder) and her teaching skills, plus classroom activities, made her first year of school the BEST! Thank you. Her first week of kinder, she was put on the wrong bus. While it frustrated me to get a phone call at work and having to leave to pick her up, I understand mistakes happen. We are all human and nobody is perfect. My daughter has just started first grade and amazes me at all she has already learned, her writing skills and her reading is awesome! Harney has curriculum nights, PTO meetings, etc for anyone to attend to voice their opinions and/or address any issues you feel need to be addressed. While reading these reviews, I felt obligated to voice my opinion. Kids will be kids. You can't blame the school or all of the faculty for bullying or harassing students. Some teachers are not as good as others, some don't have as much patience, and maybe they should find another career. But my experience and both my kids experiences are great. I have always got calls back if I leave messages. My kids have always been well cared for. For the incidents that did happen, I was notified immediately and/or when I called, I was listened to and appropriate actions were taken. I get great feedback at conferences. While no school is perfect, for Harney, I have no complaints. I think Harney is wonderful :)”
