“Great place to take your children. Clean, friendly and good environment. This is exactly the type of place you want to place your children at or in if you want them to get ready for kindergarten. Its even a great place for kids who are already in school and need a place to go after school. They encourage the children to do their homework and make their stay there very memorable.”

“I used to go there when I was a little girl, they are the best they are loving and caring. I never would have wanted to be somewhere else. I always had fun on field trips and learning. I loved doing art with them, I still have one or two of the pieces I made there.”

“If you want an opportunity for your child to connect with nature in a hands on tactile way that reinforces confidence building, team work, and true joy exploring seasons in outside nature school this is your last stop. Small classes paired with supportive teachers with passion for nature helps children grow intimate connection with nature to ground them their entire lives with the peace, calm, and centered space of being in the forest. “Teachers are decent, the rules are stupid though you can't hug which is considered "PDA" which is the stupidest thing ever. And they support gays which makes me happy 😁”

“I’m a new mom and was very sad that I had to put my son in childcare at first. The teachers Laurie and Bernadette were very helpful with the transition and made me feel very comfortable leaving my son there. My son has now been going to Mountainside for 5 months now and takes to these teachers like they are family. They have helped him grow and develop so much and they truly care for him as if he was their own child. It feels great when I see my sons face light up with joy when he sees his teachers. I’m thankful for all the staff has done for us and I would HIGHLY recommend bringing your children here for the best care! ”

“A complete professional with college level instruction ability is able to tailor lessons to each individual. A performer with virtuoso skills in guitar, fiddle and mandolin provides excellent examples in a non-judgmental, supportive environment. Offers private and group lessons, and is able to get a group to play well and learn well together, even when there are different instruments in the group. When I hit barriers in my learning, Roger is able to provide different approach or an exercise to go around my "block" and help me play better. Theory is applied using a practical approach. Elements of melody, harmony, rhythm, and improvisation are worked into many lessons. All in a relaxed and comfortable environment that encourages fun and creativity.”

“As a student who attended all four years at this school and graduated, I have to say, some of these reviews make absolutely no sense and are extremely over exaggerated. I can PERSONALLY GUARANTEE that bullying is non-existent. A select group of students within their OWN social circles will "roast" each other. Roasting is, essentially, pointing out flaws of the victim in question. "Traditional bullying" simply doesn't occur. I mean the Hollywood movie things like, stuffing students in lockers, malicious verbal harassment, mugging for lunch money, forcing heads into toilets, off campus assaults, etc. The administration is 3.5/5 for sure. Students will, without a doubt, be held responsible for any instance of failure. Failure can range across attendance, grades, behavior and a few other factors. I personally like a lot of the teachers because they can be very helpful. Admittedly, like anybody in the work force, teachers will have "bad days" and make regretful decisions. I believe the administration does care based on their close observance of students who are not meeting expectations. In fact, I knew a student who was called into an administrator's office six times in a five day period for progress updates. Most of the athletic programs are successful and the coaching staff set reasonably high standards for athletes. Unfortunately, if a student is planning on participating in the football program, they'd better put in a lot of extra work. The coaching staff has no issue having the same eleven players play both sides of the ball and special teams. In retrospect, I enjoyed my experience at Kentridge. It was nice meeting and getting to know lots of fascinating individuals. Honestly, the Culminating Project is unnecessary and strips many students of time where they could've been excelling academically. I understand the lesson taught through the Culminating Project but it's very stressful if a student falls behind.”

“Mr grand daughter and grand son go there for the last 3 years. I have seen huge confidence in my grand daughter who lacked in that. My grand son is now 2 levels higher than his peers. They also work with the teachers to make sure the kid is up to date on school work too. They help with foundation skills a lot in addition to that they help with school homework if we ask them to. Best place in town. I am very happy with the teachers who are very friendly and kind”
