“One of the most impressive thing about Hillside is the faculty's level of passion and commitment; students grow in a community of teachers who can ignite their interests and learning. Even the teachers who've been there quite a long time aren't 'burnt out' but seem to have grown into their calling, caring deeply for individual students and the community as a whole. The visual arts and drama programs are especially remarkable, and were very important for my son--but all the faculty are excited about their subjects, and show a mutual support of each other that I've rarely seen in another school.”

Meredith is amazing with these children and they get to be themselves and explore beyond my ability or practice. I know when my kid doesn't want to go home she's at a place that feels safe and fun. She offers places and things to explore that incourage amazing self confidence and growth in child development. I love the setting and she's got a pony that Natalie gets to feed her left over apples too. She gets to experience things I can't offer. Everything I could possible want and more in a pre-school.”

“Our experience with TLC Montessori has been absolutely amazing. My son, who is now ~6yo, started to go to TLC when he was 2.5 yo, and over the last three years, we have seen him growing, learning, being more curious about things around him, communicating better. His development , academically and socially , has been remarkable. That is why we registered our daughter, and she will start in TLC toddler in coming September as well (she is 1.5yo). I highly recommend TLC for anyone wanting a top notch program for their children.”

“We wanted help on planning & arranging a long trip in our truck with a camper in the bed. Cara of Anywhere But Here Travel did an absolutely fantastic, great job! The trip ended up as 46 days, but it had everything that we asked for and more. She found extra places that were just the kind that we had been looking for. We are interested in hot springs, and she found four (4) for us, all of which were very good. We're interested in steam trains, and she arranged rides for us on the Cumbres & Toltec (on the Colorado-Arizona state line) and the Royal Gorge railroads. She found several places to do off-road driving (hey, it's a 4 -wheel drive truck, what do you expect?), including 1 that was almost too exciting for us. She planned extra time where we had mentioned that we had family or friends in the area. She arranged that none of the days had TOO much driving in them although 1 day was pretty long because we kept stopping to look at cool stuff! The only problem was that the weather was not always great. We had planned to spend 4 days in New Orleans, but Hurricane Ida came through just then, knocking out the power and closing everything down. She got our money back from the hotel, and took care of all the arrangements. She found and made reservations at excellent places to see and do things, and very comfortable places to stop for the night. There was always a phone number to call for help, in case there were any problems.”

My son enjoys it because there is lots of play and he loves his teachers (as do I!). Throughout the years they’ve always been very responsive and helpful to any questions I had via email, phone, or in person. I cannot say enough positive things about how welcoming and caring they’ve been. I feel respected and valued as a parent and I can tell they sincerely care about my son. Overall, it’s a very playful, caring, and open atmosphere, which has been a great fit for our family.”

She truly cares about the kids and families and keeps the costs extremely affordable compared to elsewhere in the area. In 2017 the assigned bus stop for the kid is as far as the school itself; this year it's closer so dont have to worry about dropoff pick up traffic anymore . Teachers are good. Staff mostly friendly.”
