“Karen, Reynaldo, and July came at 7:55 am in my parking lot and waited for the 8 am scheduled pack-move-unpack service for my 2br apartment to another unit in the same apartment. I am extremely impressed by how affordable and well-executed service they were able to provide. The whole service took a little over 7hr, as they informed us at midway. No hidden fees and they listed out all charges prior for me to agree to give my business. As a Korean household, my partner and I had quite high expectations and they did not disappoint. This smooth and headache-free experience actually allowed us to be able to enjoy the new place and enjoy the rest of the evening. I highly encourage any potential interested parties to contact the business and discuss in detail about household size and logistics prior (i.e. i sent them various photos of the apartment so they became aware of what to expect). “Our daughter attended this school for about 2 years 3-4 days a week (started at 2). The staff are amazing, and wonderful with the children. They always had different projects they were creating to create fun hats, clay sculpture etc, but also learned letters, sounds, penmanship, etc. There is also a focus on God and learning about Jesus, and the school is connected to Bethel Community church. They also supported my daughter’s allergies & ultra-healthy diet she needs. She never felt excluded either because the school doesn’t serve all the junk fish crackers and sugary snacks, that is often typical w these places. Nor do they encourage parents bringing in sugary cupcakes / cookies etc for each kids birthdays & practically every holiday too - unlike so many other schools my children have attended / attend (who we continue to battle). We greatly appreciate this & makes it so much easier to train little ones palates to appreciate the foods that work for each individual child’s health needs per their doctors or family’s food beliefs. Little Lambs was recommended to me by a friend who’s nephew attended Little Lambs. All the wonderful things they said about the school and staff, we found the same to be true. Im so thankful for Little Lambs and all the wonderful (and professional) teachers. I also liked the integration of Christianity and our daughter feeling comfortable talking about Jesus, as well as asking really great questions to us about God and our lives here. Little Lambs was a great base for her to continue learning and going deeper; probably for many years to come.”

“Perfect pitstop on island for a post-adventure lunch. We came in at 1pm on a beautiful Saturday and we’re immediately seated. We ordered a couple cold drinks - common beers - and enjoyed the chips with salsa (and beans)! For our meals, we ordered shrimp tacos and the seafood (fish) enchiladas. Both were reallllly good. Rice and beans were even tasty! I altered the enchiladas to switch out the red sauce for a cream - highly recommend. Overall, service was excellent and sitting nearish the AC units made it very comfortable inside. Bonus - there’s patio seating for good weather days. We think the menu prices were fair and we’d definitely come back in the future.”

“I wish I could give the employee a 10 star review. There is a Hispanic lady who works that restaurant for 3 employees. She is always alone with a line of more than 3 people. She works everyday with a huge smile. I own a computer repair shop across the street but if I would to open a restaurant she would be the one employee I would love to have. I hope the owners read this and know how much she does for her restaurant. Seems unfair the way she is always by herself working that restaurant”

“Queen Anne Electric does great work at competitive prices. I needed to upgrade the electrical service at my 1920s home to 200 amp service. I solicited bids from four different electricians. Justin came to my home to provide the estimate. He listened to my goals, made some suggestions, but didn't try to upsell me. I decided to go with Queen Anne based on my comfort level and on the price. Everything about working with Justin and Isabella and the rest of the crew (especially Adam) at Queen Anne was easy. And I was billed exactly as set forth in the estimate/bid. Additionally, after Queen Anne Electric had installed the new service, I realized I needed an additional circuit installed for my new heating system (there was a miscommunication with the heating company as to whether the heating company would run the circuit). But Queen Anne came to the rescue and fit me into a slot in their schedule on short notice. I'm really happy with their service and would recommend Queen Anne Electric without reservation.”

“A couple of years ago our family knew that the time had come for my father to move from his condo of 30 years into some kind of assisted living. His dementia had advanced to a point that he couldn’t be left alone and our step-mother could no longer take care of all of his needs. We thought the best fit for him was an adult family home. After visiting various AFHs in the Tacoma area, many of which were perfectly adequate but rather “institutional”, we found Lavinia’s home in University Place. I could go on and on about how great this home is but I will confine my review to the main aspects that stand out to me. I would emphasize that this is truly a “home” in every sense of the word. It is run by a wonderful family: a young couple, their two children and dog. The family lives downstairs so the environment is calm and quiet, but one has the benefits of a full family without any of the noise or disturbances. From the moment you walk in you feel like you are visiting relatives - your relatives! My father was brought in and really became a member of the family. The meals are delicious and Lavinia (and Peter) make sure that everyone is eating well and getting food that is nutritious and tasty. One thing that impressed me immediately is that the kitchen was not industrial like the other places we visited, but a real family kitchen, with a dining table right off the kitchen. The home is spotlessly clean in every area. There are multiple bathrooms that are fully equipped for ADA compliance. The family has an amazing vegetable garden off one side of the house and beautiful flower beds all around the house. There is a large deck for sunny days and an amazing view of the Puget Sound. The two large sitting rooms look out over the Sound and Olympic mountains and several of the bedrooms also have views. The facility is homey, clean and inspiring with bookshelves, beautiful artwork and comfortable rooms for sitting, watching TV, reading and talking. Lavinia is a registered nurse. She knows the medical needs of all of the guests and is personally able to provide medical attention and as an RN she knows when more medical attention is required. This is the only home we visited that was owned and operated by an RN. The most important feature of this home is the owner/operators: Lavinia and Peter. They are warm, caring, loving people. I can call or text them at any time and find out how things are going. They really know each of the members of the house so personally and care for each one of them as individuals. I feel so fortunate that they are there for our family. About nine months ago my step-mother decided it was time for her to make a move and she didn’t even want to visit any other places. She told us that she only wanted to go to Lavinia’s place. I cannot imagine a better adult family home! It is that simple. This place is perfect. Make sure you check it out.”
