“Can't say enough good things!! This is the perfect outing if you have little kids. Friendly farm animals (chickens, goats, alpacas, rabbits) who are eager to eat the food you can buy on site. Bring cash or your phone- they accept Venmo and Square. The owners are as friendly as you could imagine, and seem to genuinely be having fun with their farming adventure. There's a little stand to buy beautiful flowers or go self-pick your own bouquet! When I was there this Spring there were Dahlia tubers for sale. Such a little gem tucked right off Central Valley road!”

“Where else in the US can you drive 30min from a city to a Wallaby ranch?? My husband and I just visited for July 4th weekend and it was such a charming, wonderful, and educational experience. Turns out we both actually know very little about kangaroos so the video introduction we watched was really fun and informative. The owner clearly cares about his animals and is very knowledgeable (definitely bring any questions you can think of because he will enthusiastically answer everything). You can tell that he puts a lot of thought into caring for the ranch and into making these large group experiences memorable for every single visitor. Everyone has a chance to take personal photos, feed the roos, and pet them! I also can’t believe how clean he keeps the property. The animals are so happy and relaxed. It’s beautiful to see. If folks take the time to read the website and do a little research, setting up a time for a tour is actually really easy and straightforward (I would call during reasonable business hours - pacific time). The owner does a lot to make sure he can accommodate as many people’s schedules as possible, so it’s actually a little infuriating to see the recent spate of entitled 1-star tiktok reviewers from people who didn’t get what they wanted or couldn’t be bothered to be patient. Definitely come for a visit if you want a safe, educational experience and - do remember that this ranch is maintained by a very passionate, kind individual who really cares about his kangaroos. This isn’t a circus act and it’s a group experience where everyone should be able to learn/enjoy *together*.”

All of the wonderful staff there helped me to pick out the perfect pair of glasses and talked with me like we were all old friends. Debbie picks out what brands the store stocks, they have such a unique stock! The staff obviously enjoys coming in to work and create such a welcoming environment. “This is our family's first martial arts experience, and my 6yr old and 8yr old are loving it! Master West and Master Vincent really meet each kid at their level, which is extra impressive because they manage kids at different belt levels within one class. My kids also clearly find the belt and stripe system very motivating, and are excited to take on new challenges to keep making progress. Before starting, I was admittedly nervous about the time commitment (2 classes/wk) and whether my kids would fit in. But we're a month in to classes, and they are more and more enthusiastic each time they go!”

“Very green park with lots of trails. There are only 2 things left from fort days which is an old cemetery and a torpedo tower that is located in the group campsite. The majority of the park has returned to it's natural roots. There is a barn in the park that can be reserved for any number of things. We only stopped in while waiting for our ferry reservation. It has a campground that we did not look at. The bathroom by the day use area was small but clean. Lots of picnic tables, a few grills, horseshoe area and amphitheater. The state parks website has lots of information for this park as well as reservations for the campground.”
