“We love, love, love Valley Christian! We've had our son there for a few months now and love Ms. Penny & Ms. Whitney and have heard nothing but fantastic things about Ms. Pierce! The teachers are gentle, patient, loving, communicative and so appreciated. Our son isn't perfect but Ms. Penny is so patient w/ him, sees every moment as a teachable, learning opportunity and calls and writes us notes w/ info on how the day went and how they are working w/ him. We were previously at another day school, which has received many accolades and praises, but can honestly say it doesn't hold a candle to the experience we've had at Valley Christian. The kids have structured but fun time during the day and our son comes home singing, smiling and so proud of what he is learning and his arts and crafts. The facilities are older but well kept. Children have access to a good sized outdoor play area and shade. We've had our older daughter in private school for a few years now and feel the fundraising expectations are actually very minimal at Valley Christian compared to that of other "like" childcare and private school facilities. I highly recommend this school and encourage anyone looking for childcare to take a tour, meet the staff and make your own determinations!”

He provided his insight and experience and we increased our tank to a 50 gallon. His install was very quick even after some piping issues he needed to work around. “I was feeling energy depleted all the time and knew I had to have a fitness program and health regime. I was not new to exercise but lacked knowledge on good weight training technique and needed to know where to start. That's when I came across Maria on Google. Maria is an exceptional fitness trainer as well as a registered dietitian. When we first began, she developed a personal fitness regime and talked me through a good diet plan to reach my health goals. Maria has in depth knowledge of every body part and helped design a personalized exercise plan. She is very detailed oriented and taught me the proper technique for every exercise. During her assessment she found the areas that I personally needed to improve. She added a lot of exercises for my core and strength. She gave me exercises to improve my hip mobility and that helped with my flexibility and knee problems. She also influenced, made me aware and conscious of what I eat. She shared easy and quick recipes with simple everyday ingredients. Maria is also a very easy person to talk to and extremely reachable and prompt. I feel now I can independently follow my workout plan. I look at exercise in a different light now and it doesn't bore or tire me anymore. I feel much better around my hip and my flexibility has improved with each day. I am also reaching my weight loss goals. This has been a productive experience for me. “Got a new seat put on my bike. Rich and his fellow employees did a great job fitting me to my seat and making sure I was happy with it. The quality is well worth the trip to their shop. Whenever I had other questions they had no problem answering anything I was curious about doing to my bike and that meant a lot to me. “I was driving home from Big lots across the street when I noticed my steering wheel was turning right. I found a flat tire and was in dire need for help. I searched up the nearest Auto repair store and Mike's Fairwood Auto popped up. It was a minute drive but they were closing. They seem like they were very booked up so I just asked for some air to take it to a tire shop. They checked out my tire and told me that this needs to be fixed before it gets more damaged. They ended up squeezing me into their schedule and patched up my tire. This car needs a couple more things done but I know where to take it for work. These guys were very helpful and were very kind. “Neat little saltwater tackle shop right on the water! Wife and I are freshwater anglers but could find plenty in here that we could take back to some lakes. They have several rod/reel combos as well as standalone reels, hard bait, soft bait, live bait, some custom lure supplies, hooks, squid jigs, nets, spinners – just about everything you'll need on the water. They also sell snacks, drinks, souvenirs (the fishing themed shirts are awesome and I may have to come back just for a couple of them), fishing guides, Tacoma history guides, and more! We spent so much time looking at tackle that there's probably a ton of stuff we missed. The back door of the shop leads outside where I think you can fish from the dock. They have fishing reports and info on whiteboards by the front door; they also write down the biggest catches of the day/month.”
