“Hales Pass Park appears to be just a baseball field and a repurposed historical school building. I was looking for a pickleball court and missed it on the first visit. They are hidden from the rest of the park by a building marked "private property" and somewhat buried in the shadows of the surrounding trees. The pickleball courts are markings on two fairly decent tennis courts. The courts are unlighted. The nets and court surface are in good shape, although submerged under water from recent rains when I visited. The court seems to be tied up on Wednesday mornings with pickleball league play.”

“Wow! What a great place--seriously good BBQ, eclectic interior design, and incredibly wonderful staff! I highly recommend Drunky's--you gotta try the Doom sauce! Okay, here's the details...the brisket is really excellent--moist, perfectly rendered fat, and great smoke taste. I like a little more crust on my brisket, but this brisket is supremely delicious. When you order, they will ask if you want lean or fatty (flat or point, of respectively). I get half-and-half and that is the right combination for me. My brother prefers all lean and his girlfriend prefers all point. I consider myself a pasta salad aficionado (specifically macaroni salad, but I love all pasta salads). OMG! The pasta salad with smoked pork belly is off the hook! Great sauce, served cold, and the smoked pork belly is delicious. The baked beans are really great too. I also love spicy food--like "not fit for human consumption" spicy--and the Doom sauce has a solid punch of heat, pepper, and sweet BBQ flavor. You need try this place if you like BBQ!”

“After looking for my car keys for hours I gave up and called the dealer whom quoted me a ridiculous price for 1 key. I also would have had to tow the car to them. I then found this company and not only was their price significantly less than the dealership but they also go to you! The locksmith technician showed up within 30 minutes of my call. I was very pleased they got to me so fast! Within 15 minutes of his arrival he had my new key and I was all set. He was very friendly and informative as well! “I happened upon The Visual Connection with a set of glasses that had been placed open on a table and then inadvertently flattened by a large box. Had I been able to put the glasses on the temples would have gone straight up rather than on my ears. Rather than jump to sell me a new frame, Meg accepted the challenge of repairing them. After less than ten minutes she walked back with the glasses fixed. It’s one of those times I really wish I had taken before and after photos. Then it that wasn’t enough all she wanted was a smile for her time & talents. Just based off Megs friendliness & willingness to help is enough for me to recommend The Visual Connection.”

I read a post about him not caring about his minority patients and I just don’t believe that to be true. We are an African American family and the dentist and his staff have always been super sweet and accommodating for us. My, son is on the spectrum and the patients of his entire team is absolutely phenomenal. We have been with him over 2 years now. We live about an hour from Sammamish now and still make the drive because he’s that good.”

“My Grandma, who is 94 years old, brought us back here yesterday. She was born in a house just up the hill above this store. She referred the the owner back then as uncle. Times have changed, but this little store is still very charming and the owner, who didn't know who we were at all, has the same great small town hospitality. They also have good prices compared to many other convenience stores, and a great selection of snacks, beverages, and ready to eat meals. Just the type of lovely small business we all want in our hometown.”
