“Came here a little bit ago. The food was pretty good. Got a family meal for 2 people. There was easily enough food to eat comfortably there and take some home for later. The chicken was very well cooked, crispy and had good sauce. The oolong tea was also really nice. Came in a pot and just pour as you go. Over all the food was really good. Only 1 down sides are that the salt shakers were a little dirty which wasn't that big of a deal. But the inside of the restaurant is VERY nice and had nice decor.”

“Back in October of 2017 I began communicating with the Sales Rep Danny from Valentine Roofing. I was communicating for 2 neighbors and myself. I received at least 6 estimates for my roof, negotiating, reading reviews and talking to other neighbors. From day 1 Valentine has been extremely responsive. I have not been the easiest customer, I am sure I drove Danny crazy with all my questions! After all was said and done we chose Valentine and signed the contract in early March (I was the one that drug my feet from October....NOT VALENTINE). We went with Valentine for several reasons 1) I value reviews and great customer service 2) I value doing business with a company who is upfront and honest 3) I saw the beautiful work they did on 3 neighbors houses while we were dragging our feet. Once we were assigned a PM, Salvador, I received phone calls and emails thoroughly explaining the scope of the project. Loved Salvador! Monday April 2nd our materials were delivered, the same morning the crew began removing the old roof! They worked until 7pm Monday and were back at it to finish the project Tuesday....YES....my roof was complete in 1 1/2 days and it looks FANTASTIC. This crew was off the charts, their care for my spring flowers, their precautions to cover the entire yard (although quite small) with tarps as to not leave any debit in the yard was outstanding. Clearly Valentine is doing something right....you don't have employees that are so kind, respectful and just overall good people if you are not treating them properly! YES, I would 100% recommend Valentine. I will say, they were not the cheapest estimate, but for a roof I find tremendous value in the company and the project that is being done. I had 1 other bid I was seriously considering and then read reviews on his company...... thank you Valentine for a job well done.”

“Some friends of mine wanted to hike the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and had reserved a few spaces at a local camp ground in Arizona. Not wanting to sleep on the ground, I searched and found the perfect RV to rent for this trip at NW Adventure Rentals. The process was easy, the people were a joy to work with and the RV we selected fit my needs of carrying both me and my pup down and back for this trip. When we arrived at the campground, a couple of my buddies saw the extra beds and thought it looked like a much better alternative for them also. We all had a Great time and renting the RV for this trip was one of the reasons why. I will definitely remember NW Adventure Rentals and their selection of RVs for our next adventure.”

“Gregor Rare Books was nostalgic and hit every heart sting in my soul. My husband and I visited Langley, WA, which is a quaint, lovely, tourist town on the southern part of Whidbey Island, accesible from the mainland via the Mukilteo Ferry or a drive through Deception Point at the Northern end of the Island. Langley has evolved from a sleepy island community into a high end tourist destination where dot com employees can spend a weekend and a ton of cash on just about everything you can imagine. A tourist who isn’t heavy with cash can still enjoy some of the town’s shopping experiences. The eateries offer broad selections and prices, so taking a day for lunch and a nice walk won’t break the bank. Being retired or on a budget still works! Now, down to business. My favorite find in downtown Langley was Gregor Rare Books. It was exactly like walking into the same store twenty-five years ago. The vibe was perfect and felt like a sanctuary from the downtown glitz and bling of Seattle. But best of all, was David Gregor. He was a true bohemian in his mellow unassuming nature, sitting behind his desk reading the latest book about Leonard Cohen. I cruised the few aisles and felt that David Gregor had hit the bells and whistles of what any book collector would want in his or her collection. Being an ex collector myself, I checked prices and conditions. The books were well priced for their value. His collection included Hemingway, Kesey, Steinbeck, Hesse, Kerouac, Harrison and too many more to mention. The books in this store were the books I cut my teeth on and grew up with. He hit most of the greatest writers of our time. It wasn’t lost on me that David Gregor had about five titles by his own hand, two of which I bought and are currently on my reading stack. Did I mention that he is also a musician? David is just a really smart guy who happens to be very well read, can play the guitar, is disciplined enough to write and has a beautiful bookstore in downtown Langley. Jesus tap dancing Christ. Perfect life. He is hanging out, just being …… a bohemian.”
