“This is the number to call for city waste water. I believe they have 24 hr dispatch as I called at night. I called in regarding a business that appeared to be flooding out into the street. The dispatcher asked if it could be manicopal water not sewer water but related that they would look into it immediately. I had dealt with Wastewater service individuals a few weeks before when a local water main had clogged up the pipes on the block of a good friend. They were amazing at walking through, checking out the sump, explaining things and even gave diagrams and info packets explaining how the systems works at 1 in the morning. Really awesome folks!”

“I barely leave reviews but the experience in this place was amazing! First it's very welcome, it's family managed. Great service. And the pastas are the best pasta I have ever tried. We were in Seattle and decided to stop there on our way home. We are coming back here every time we are around. I WOULD EVEN TAKE A TRIP FROM HOME (La Conner) if I was just craving good pasta. Authentic Food, Fresh ingredients, and a party of flavor for your palate. Simply the best!”

“Mike repaired our roof after a tree fell on it. We had 3 quotes and he was by far the best price. He was able to squeeze us in right away and worked through the weekend to get our repair in asap. I was incredibly impressed with his pricing, quality, service, and speed. I called him back recently to install gutter guards and will continue to use him for any roofing needs.”

“Very friendly staff. I've been impressed with their attention, their help (& their patience; I can be fairly indecisive sometimes 🙃) when ordering, the quality of drinks I've had here and just their overall service when I've come in. I live in the neighborhood and haven't been one to be drawn to Starbucks for the sake of going to Starbucks, but I do enjoy coming here. I also appreciate the atmosphere - nice vibe. I have to say, at some point in the past several years, I think Starbucks changed the way they roast their coffee because it tastes much better now (no more the "burnt" over-roasted flavor). Definitely appreciate that. 😄 Enjoy! ☕💃”

“Impact Builds, LLC had replaced a neighbor's fence wall that was located between their property and our backyard. We split the cost, and were very pleased with the end product. Fast forward one year later, we needed to replace the rest of our backyard fence, as well as a couple gates, and a fence wall that continued from one side of the backyard into the front yard. We dutifully requested estimates from three companies, including Impact Builds, LLC. Francisco of Impact was the only one of the three to arrive on site to measure the fences and speak with us about what we wanted. We received a bid within a day, and Impact answered a couple other questions for us about the project before we ultimately accepted their competitive estimate. Two days later, Francisco had a team at our place, removing our dilapidated fence, installing posts, and constructing the new fences. They returned the following day, completing the project, and clearing debris from the entire area. We were extremely impressed with the speed at which they worked, and are beyond satisfied with the end result. A particular highlight for us was an idea of replacing the solid wall along our front yard with a friendlier-looking lattice. I showed Francisco a photo of what I had in mind, and he said they could build it for us. They did so, and we love the look. Apparently, so does at least one other neighbor who saw it and wanted an estimate for their place. We highly recommend Impact Builds, LLC. A few "before" and "after" photos included.”

“City Lights Church is a new and dynamic church located in University Place. It is well rooted in the word of God. They love the Lord and preach the word directly from the bible the way God meant it to be. The worship music is always awesome, uplifting and a great way to start the day. The children's center is one of the best anywhere! It is warm, inviting and friendly. My family and kids love it. Bob McCluskey”

“The pizza here was hands down some of the best I have ever had! We just drove by and are new in the area & wanted to give it a try, and we are so glad we did. We forgot to take a picture of the pizza due to wanting to try it badly, then ended up eating it all before catching a photo 🤣 we got the deep dish, veggie option with Italian sausage added. My husband tried the hot wings & loved them as well. It truly was great & we will definitely be back for more!”

“Seattle Colleges serves all of metropolitan Seattle and its surrounding communities and comprises the largest community college district in the state, educating more than 45,000 students each year. The first classes were held in the Edison Vocational Technical Institute on Capitol Hill, when Seattle Community College—now Seattle Central College—opened in 1966 as part of the public school system. The State Community College Act of 1967 established college districts apart from the public schools, with a mandate to provide an open door to education for all who seek it. A long-range plan called for three campuses in the city, and planning began immediately for North Seattle College and South Seattle College. Community College Act signing ceremony Community College Act signing ceremony, 1967 By September 1970, all three colleges opened together for the first time as a multicampus district. Seattle Vocational Institute, affiliated with Central, joined the district in 1991 under the state’s Workforce Training and Education Act. The district also includes five specialized training centers located throughout the city: Health Education Center, Seattle Maritime Academy, and Wood Technology Center, affiliated with Central. Georgetown Campus and NewHolly Learning Center, affiliated with South. Students choose from an array of more than 130 academic and career and technical education (CTE) programs, the largest number in the state. The curriculum has led the way as the Puget Sound area moved from a manufacturing and resource-based economy to information-based industries. Like the region, the college population is dynamic. The student body is the most diverse in the Northwest, reflecting nearly 80 different languages spoken in homes throughout the city. By design, each of the colleges reflects its community. While the colleges are an integral part of their neighborhoods and offer certain unique educational programs, all are comprehensive and offer programs in college transfer, career and technical training, adult basic education, and continuing education.”

“I used to to go here for elementary school, I made lots of good friends that I still have today. But one memory me and my friends all share is that the cheese sauce for the nachos was like rubber, you could tip it upside down and nothing would come out. Also I liked how they served popcorn of every wednesday (or friday I cant remember).”
