If you are a history lover, this is a great place to visit. Also many quaint and unique shops and restaurants. Beautiful buildings and views as well. Only downside is parking is very limited or very far away.

One of the best National Parks we have in America, coming to this town is like taking a step back in time. From the old train station, to the stone road, and the small local shops you can walk to. The views are also just perfect, and you can even walk across the bridge to MD where you can either take a stroll on the canal or go hiking.

What an interesting day! We learned a lot about Harper's Ferry, John Brown, and the Civil War. The videos were very informative and we'll put together. The shops and museums were fabulous. It was definitely like stepping back in time. I would highly recommend this National Park for families wanting to learn some WV history.

Beautiful!!!!! Absolutely gorgeous and stark and serene. I can't wait to go once it's a little more green. I'm sure it will be incredibly lovely, maybe even more than it is now. The water is cleaner than i've seen anywhere near here, and the terrain is easy, even for someone with unreliable knees like myself - but there are many places to challenge yourself too! Many years of exploring are ahead.

Worth visiting ! You’ll deep in the history of Native American as well as America in colonial era. So, traveling there is better in summer. Many tourists are in winter as well. Don’t give a damn, and go there at anytime. My own recommendation is to go there with a girlfriend or a boyfriend... somewhat romantic this place has too :) waiting for summer to visit it again :)
