(June 13, 2018, 12:07 am)Absolute favorite childhood vacation spot. Quaint village like atmosphere, this place had a little bit of everything. Great hiking, wonderful views, it's brimming with historical sites and shopping, good fishing and kayaking for those with some experience.
It's challenging for anyone with mobility issues as the roads and sidewalks are very STEEP. Some areas are inaccessible except by staircase. There is a local hostel, B&B's, and a number of rentals (which can be pricey). it is definitely worth a day trip if not a long weekend to really enjoy this gem.
