The best view of the Potomac on the outskirts of Shepherdstown. The monument towers over the landscape.

This place is small but has the most beautiful view. I really enjoy spending time here with my family when I’m free.

The view is amazing! There is a picnic table for the kids,in a large patch of grass. You can go up on the rock, but be careful of the height.

The Rumsey Monument has some great views and a good bit of open grass to come and do whatever you want. There are a couple of pics tables and benches to use and a big rock which is easy to climb and relax on. This is my favorite place to run to and get to run the stairs to the monument for some more exercise. Overall a great place to hang out at on a nice day.
