“As a university library accomodating a school of this size, Scarborough offers a great resource for all Shepherd students. Two levels high, plenty of study space is available, ranging from casual oversized chairs, tables, and personal desks. Plenty of computers are available free for use. The book selection is as expected for this university size with plenty of material on all fields. The staff is knowledgeable and is definitely the best resource for any and all questions. With Shepherd's free wifi, the library is a must-visit for those needing quiet concentration and focus.”

“The wife and I went there for breakfast. The breakfast menu is small, however that is not a bad thing. It means that what is on there, is done well. Both of our dishes were very good. I was asked if I wanted hot sauce with my meal. I said yes. The waitress came back with more varieties of hot sauce than I anticipated. She explained the heat level of them and then left them all for me to experiment with. Our coffee cups were never less than 1/4 full. Fantastic service.”

“My wife and I found that Bavarian Inn were open Christmas day. We made reservations and enjoyed an amazing meal. Since the last time we had eaten there. A cozy new bar with a roaring fire place, leather sofas and chairs were added. Like a prior visit. The food was amazing. For Christmas we had several entrees to select from on a special menu. Amazing food, Great Christmas ambience and outstanding service. Pricing is a little high, but it's well worth it. Looking forward to our next visit.”

The home made jams and jellies are delicious and the atmosphere is very nice and down right at home. The staff are grade A fantastic! We come from Carroll Co, Md just to visit this place. “Did the turkey run with my kids, was well organized and a lot of fun. Can’t wait to do it again. The place seemed large enough to host other events and had a nice club house if you will, that had bathrooms, food, and a large hall that had a craft show when we went. Large parking lot and easy to get to.”
